Designed for continuous reading of a small print book, with hands-free well-lit hidden lighting
Whilst a had held traditional magnifier is good for quick and instant use, such as instructions on pharmaceutical packaging, this wonderful, and seemingly unique reading enlarger works extremely well for when you have a leaflet or book with small print that is uncomfortable to read and you can now do so hands free and for any length of time.Feels like a quality product because it is and designed with function deliverables first and design following that. Excellent, and deservedly five stars and I am not associated with any form of reward but hopefully helping you make a decision. Be wary though that the real glass, which is naturally heavy, and therefore unusual, is exactly what you need for clarity and comfort for continuous reading, and hands free work that is supported with clever lighting built-in to the frame. Highly recommended…

Great size & shape, light is perfect brightness, but a tad heavy.
My mother-in-law loves to read & had been using a small plastic magnifying glass. When I showed her this, she was skeptical at first and now uses it all the time. We chose this one because the rectangular shape and larger size makes it easier to see whole sections of the page at one time. It is a tad heavy, so it is a nice benefit that it can be free standing (like in a table), so she does not have to hold it up. She also did not originally want a light, but has since used it extensively to help her read more easily. It is bright enough to read in the dark, but she uses the light in addition to the light in the room.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a very handy device! My good friend has macular, and this is so important for her even to look at her mail! Yes, she said it’s a little heavy, but I think it’s very well put together!!

I really like this lighted magnifier. I bought a round one recently and the touch on/off button drives me crazy – turning off because I accidentally touch it. This magnifier has click buttons to operate that are much better. There are 3 color modes and separate buttons to increase/decrease brightness. I have small hands and the handle is not too wide for me. It’s a little heavy, but I’ve been using it a lot and haven’t had an issue. I wasn’t sure I’d like the rectangular shape, but it’s working well for me. I use it a lot, so I recharge every night so it’s always ready.Update: I hadn’t used the stand before. Three days after I wrote this review, I opened the stand and the handle came apart! I duct taped it back together, but only one side has lights. The hinge connector is flimsy plastic, so be careful when unfolding the stand. Still a good amount of light, so usable. BTW, you need to hold the glass farther away than you’d expect to get proper magnification.

Real glass so I can see things clearly. It is heavy but it is OK for home use. I like the lights in it as well. Recommend.

This unit is well worth the money.
This magnifier is very nice with glass lens and several light temperatures it was charged to full in10 minutes from 3% this has multiple position and light temperatures and holds a charge going on three days with 1 hour per use.Iam very happy with this unit and will purchase more of these units this unit is weighty and easy to manipulate when in use and will stand on its own and lies flat when finished using the device and a soft cover to protect the device I will say money spent wisely.
