Gotta do what you gotta do
Let’s admit it, there might come a time when we need a little help. When that time comes if we can find a way to continue to care for our personal needs we feel so much better. This product worked well & helped me remain in control of my personal hygiene during the time needed. I handwash each part and let air dry after each use. It cleans those hard to reach private areas with ease. I use bar soap and bring to a lather. I used this only for private areas. If you’re struggling to keep yourself clean for whatever reason, this could be your answer. Some mentioned it breaking- I have no idea how much pressure they were using, but it feels solid & well made to me.Would definitely recommend & will to my elderly parents or others who may need this helpful item.

The grip on handle is too slippery but the product otherwise is helpful for a bad shoulder.

Great hand design, needs a more superior washing material.
The design looked so PERFECT that I bought 2 of these personal bathing aids. (I gave 1 as a gift) I’m not in love with the fabric of the scrubber part. The fabric is more like a rubber so that no matter how much soap you put on it, it still behaves like rubber on glass. It actually SOUNDED squeaky the 3 times that I wanted to use it. The foam part is really probably rubber and the over-net will not remove anything either. I have dishcloths that have a net similar in looks to this product, but they are not the make fabric at all. Because the design of the body of the unit is great, I plan to sew a dishcloth that has the same TYPE of netting but made of the material on it (I know what will take some spent skin cells off). Over all, great design idea, inferior product material.

Treat it Right and it Will Help You
I do not use it in the shower. I am 82 with back and right shoulder limitations so I use it to apply lotion to my lower legs and feet. I am mindful of previous reviews that mention breakage but, for my particular situation, I do stress the little guy. I figure if I am careful, it will last a long time. Plus the pads are removable and washable. Just another tool in an old guy’s arsenal for independent living 🙂

Doesn’t work well
I should have shopped more carefully. Had this item since Dec, it’s now falling apart. The sponge has come off and the mesh keeps slipping off. I’m limited to how far I can reach to wash my back when I shower so this simply doesn’t do the job. I’m going to order a long-handled brush and I will throw this pink and blue item away. I’m writing this for the benefit of those who are, at least temporarily, disabled. Don’t waste your money. In addition, it has a vulgar appearance.

Great shower aid!
This shower wand is a little better than others because of the curved handle, which makes it easier to hold. This a great aid in helping reach all the right places. It also comes with a spare sponge. I try to store this outside the shower so it doesn’t get moldy. I also put the cover sponge in the washing machine now and then.
