Easy to install and very sturdy
This piece was used for my son’s busy board rather than a shower but works great. It is visually appealing and easy to install. The material doesn’t have much grip to it so it might be slippery when wet but overall a good product for a dry location.

They look great, clean up nicely, and function as they should. Took one star off for materials. They’re made of very lightweight aluminum. Feels pretty sturdy and if you put them into studs for a grab bar, you’d probably be fine, but had to call that out. These are not super solid heavy duty metal like they may appear in the photos.Still great for the price though!

Good product
Worked good for me. I was only able to sink 2 out 3 screws into the wood beams that were 16 inches apart but great for the price. I don’t trust wall anchors at all. They were provided but I didn’t use them.

Looks great and works well
This is a perfect size for use. Getting in and out of a tub shower. Just had a guest, and they said they very much appreciated the grab bar to get into the deep tub. I would recommend having blocking behind it so it is good and solid.

awful instructions -lack of instructions!
I read and re-read the instructions and could not figure out what kept the bar from coming off the mounting disks. Following the instructions, it would have come off in your hand. I finally noticed 2 bolts in the hardware bag that had not been mentioned or pictured anywhere. They hold the bar to the mounting plate and they must be installed before the plates are mounted on the wall. We used the bolts to fasten the plate to the bar and then screwed down the mounting plates. Then we found that we had not tightened the bolts tight enough and the bar wobbled on the wall. We had to unscrew the plates, really tighten the bolts and then re-install the plates to the wall. This was waaaaay more trouble than it should be to just mount a grab bar!

Exactly what we needed at the back door in order to make it up a couple of steps. Makes our home just that little bit more safe. Very sturdy.
