With a listed weight limit of 440 lbs (which sounds impressive, although I didn’t test that claim for the hammock setup), I figured this chair would be perfect for the average adult…aaaaaaand, it is!! It’s a comfortable fit that feels both cozy and secure.It’s small, compact, and lightweight, making it super easy to transport or set up anywhere. I’m using it as a fun replacement for my outdoor chair, and it doubles as an extra seat for guests. The best part? That glorious feeling of weightlessness when I’m kicked back, gently swinging on the chair, pretending I don’t have a mountain of emails waiting for me. There is no neck support because the fabric isn’t intended to be a high-back chair, however, I have an inflatable mat somewhere that I’ll use to help me sit more upright. This chair helps me remember the kid in me as it cradles and sways all 5’3″ and 175 lbs of me in the air.Setup was effortless! I’m keeping the 4 leg sleeves that came with it to protect the metal from scratches when storing it away in the carry bag (also included, yay!). It’s made of top quality material, from the enclosed 2 fabric options (each with its own drawstring bags) for either a swinging chair or hammock setup, to the metal stand; this thing is built to last and can hold the weight of an average adult. Whether I’m in the mood for a swing or a hammock vibe, this chair delivers both! Best of all, it does not take up much space and folds up easily to store away or pack with you for the next day trip. When I think about the price, it’s not cheap, BUT you are getting 2-in-1 chair/hammock that is adjustable to whatever layback mood you’re in. The portability and nostalgic aspect of this product earns it a solid 4.7 stars.

Sturdy, comfortable, and easily packable, if a bit heavy.
Sturdy design. Has both a chair and a “child hammock” — both work, although the ropework on the “Child Hammock” sling is a little off, with some support ropes loose and others tight. The spreaders don’t stay properly where they should.Folds down, quite well, and comes with a bag that holds both slings as well as the stand. Stand has several adjustable positions to accommodate different tension, and the difference between the chair sling and the hammock sling.One thing that isn’t obvious is that the legs need to be slightly spread in order to fold up properly. The support pipes tend to flop around when trying to manouver it into the bag. A couple of velcro straps to hold things together make a good addition when packing it.The fabric of the slings is quite soft and nice, and breathes well. Overall it’s a nice product.One thing to note, because the frame is all steel tubing, it’s a bit heavy, so take into account.

Comfortable, Compact, and Kid-Approved (Even for Adults)
Even though this is advertised as a child’s hammock and swing chair, it’s absolutely suitable for an adult too. I’m 5’4″, and there was still some extra length left if someone taller wanted to use it.Honestly, for the price, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the hammock was. I only meant to test it for a minute after setting it up… but 30 minutes later, I was still laying there, completely relaxed. It’s that comfy.Now, the chair part isn’t really my favorite, but that’s more of a personal thing. I’ve never been big on those hammock-style chairs since I prefer something with a more supportive back. Still, it feels just like the others I’ve tried, so it’s definitely up to standard if you like that style.The carrying bag is another big plus. Everything fits back inside easily (a rare miracle), and the bag itself tucks neatly into my deck box for storage. Way more convenient than dragging it into the garage every time.Overall, I’d say this hammock set is a solid buy, relaxing, compact, and surprisingly adult-friendly for something marketed to kids.
