Check to make sure all the hardware is included.
Good size and very functional, but some of the hardware was missing and I had to go to the hardware store and get the bolts I needed to put them up.

Simple and secure
This set of grab bars by Qarituky, has all the hardware needed, however, you’ll need at least a drill and drill bits, Phillips screwdriver, and a pencil. The product site has a good graphic for installing into drywall with the mollies. I chose to attach the bar to a stud and used a magnetic stud-finder, and was lucky to find a stud to attach one end for added strenght. I used a 2″ brad nail to test-locate the stud width. There are a number of angles you can set the bar at if you are going to use the plastic mollies to secure to drywall. I chose a slight upward angle as that felt most natural for pulling one’s self up off the toilet. The instructions included with the kit was hard to read with such small type, but clear enough to get the job done. A couple of tips: (1) Don’t over tighten the bolt holding the mounting plate to the bar, otherwise you’ll struggle to rotate and align the plate holes to the mollies in the wall. (2) Leave the mounting screws a little untightened at the first side you attach. That will allow some play away from the wall to make final adjustments at the other end. Afterwards you can fully tighten them before slipping the cover plate over. (3) Be sure to remember to slip the cover plates onto the bar before you secure the mounting plates, or you’ll have to undo the mounting plate to get it on. I forgot one and had to undo the mounting plate to get the cover on the bar. Even with that, I was able to do the full installation in about 30-minutes, after I read the instructions twice, and getting all my tools and materials in place. Once installed, the chrome plated bar looks great and tests very secure, especially with the top end (furthest forward) with two of the 3 screws in a stud beneath the drywall. The silicone hand grip has a good feel to it. Overall I’m very happy with the one I installed and will install the other grab bar in the 2-pack set in the 2nd bathroom.

Strong, secure, easy install, safety
I ordered these grab bars to be used for safety in the shower. I have a small box like shower and it’s hard to get in and out of at times as I am handicapped. I chose these grab bars because of the soft middle rubber part as I have arthritis in my hands. That soft rubber part helps me get a better grip than just a metal rough middle. I feel more secure with these and I think they look great and their Chrome plate so no rust. These grab bars have 3 three long plastic anchors and three screws. I made the 3 holes on each side using a 3/8 tile drill bit. Once I had the grab bars in place it was very secure, felt strong. This gave me confidence to use it. It helps me to get in and out of shower much easier and much safer. I think this is a very good price point for these. I use the grab bar when I’m sitting down in my shower chair and getting back up as I’m getting older it’s getting harder to do that. Ok, I hope this helps. Sincerely, CharlieUpdate : I added the second grab bar in front of the toilet a bit lower than the first one in the shower. This second one is lower as to grab onto to help me get up off the toilet as I’m handicapped at 64 years of age and needing some assistance. With these grab bars I am still able to live independently and safely. I just wanted to show a second picture of how I installed the second one and I do use it also when I’m getting out of the shower for added stability. Okay, I hope this helps. Sincerely, Charlie

Can’t beat the price
I bought these for my mother while she was staying with me after her surgery. They were easy to install and does not look cheap but they do feel cheap if that makes any sense. The metal is very thin feeling but for the price these are a great deal.

Perfect size for tight places and small hands
I installed one of these outside the shower for my 90 year old aunt that lives with us. Most grab bars are much larger in diameter than these. A normal grab bar is 1.5″ diameter these are only 1″ While this may not seam like a big difference, she can get a more secure grip. The biggest reason I went with these is the area I had to attach it was not all that wide. The mounting plates are only 2.25″ in diameter and fit perfectly on the end of the wall. Any larger would not have fit. It was installed on the end of a privacy wall between the tub and the toilet. There is a stud just behind the drywall so it was easy to install and is nice and sturdy. All the screws were into the wood stud. I was able to place it in the perfect position to allow for use from both the tub and the toilet. The rubber coating does not want to move around on the bar, it is well bonded to the metal. It has been up for a month at this point and has been functioning well. My aunt is very happy and feels more confident in the bathroom alone.

Sturdy Feeling & Look to be Well Made Grab Bars that should last me a while.
I have to say I like this set of Grab Bars; they were packaged nicely and in perfect condition. The Silicone grip part is a lot better than the grab bar I have now that barely has any grip on them just a slippery lightly textured metal surface that my hand slips on occasionally making me feel uneasy when grabbing them while trying to get in or out of the tub/shower.Was also Glad to see the Nice Hardware that came with them, the screws look to be very sturdy compared to screw packets I have gotten with other items I have ordered where the screws broke and or the heads messed up and I just threw out the screw packets and bought some new screws & anchors, I will not have to with this set (Thanks). Will be installing them this weekend, need to do some patching & painting where my last Grab bar in my bathroom was, going to move it slightly so I can a better grip on the New Better Grab bar.I always try to make sure to get at least 2 screws into a stud at the top and bottom of my grab bars (if possible) and the 3rd Installation hole at the top and bottom I use with the included wall anchors & screws for added strength. The 2nd bar might be going by my toilet, but I do have the sink countertop there that I use to help me up, so I am really thinking of putting it right by my homes entrance door in the garage where I have 3 steps to get up, I have been unsteady there many times and think I should put one of these Grab Bars there.
