Helping hands
These two gadgets really help with arthritic hands getting off those tough life and bottle caps. These two items cover almost all types of lids/caps. I keep a second smaller one in the car as I carry a water bottle with me all the time and sometimes I can’t hardly get the cap off with my hands alone. Fits in the console or glove box nicely and the larger one fits in the kitchen drawer no problem. Great gift for someone with hand pain/arthritis! Highly recommend.

A must have no matter what your age
I love this set of two tools to open bottles, jars, or cans! The simple physics of using these tools just makes opening anything so much easier with little effort. The gripper is versatile enough to open just about any size jar, and the smaller opener tool has so many different options to open just about anything. The opener even has a diagram etched on the handle illustrating how to use it for things you never think of. For the price, this is an excellent value. I highly recommend this product for everyone….not just people with arthritis or limited dexterity.

The bottle opener is useful, but the jar opener struggles with stuck lids
It’s difficult to review two items at once, so I’ll split this into two sections.The jar opener disappointed me. I thought the rubberized openings would supply good grip and the long handle would grant extra leverage. I tried it on several jars and it was able to open the brand new ones, but couldn’t open ones that had become stuck over time. Those I was able to open by hand, which means the jar opener won’t be able to help me open jars I struggle with. I’d give it three stars; it can open many jars which means it would be helpful for people with very weak hands.The bottle opener, on the other hand, is good at gripping stuck caps. I haven’t found one yet that it couldn’t open. It has several other features, like being able to pop the seal on jars and remove bottle caps. It is a little bulky, but that probably makes it easier to grip for some people. I’d give it four stars.
