Helps to optimize task breakdown
No issues, works as intended. Makes me really think about the tasks and to ensure I can get them done within the allotted time.

A must to help keep kids focused!!
A game-changer for my 9 year old on the autism spectrum. It helps him stay focused while getting ready for school in the morning. Without this device he tends to get stuck on a step and not move forward with his morning routine. We LOVE the built-in timer with sound or light alarm option!Only reason I didn’t give this item 5 stars is because there is only one removable plastic list card. It would be super helpful to have a few cards to swap out for frequently used routines, such as morning, getting home from school, and going to bed routines.

Perfect tool to help the kids develop good discipline.
Really good design, made in good quality. I prefer this writing card and check done design than other similar but more complicated ones. The way to show time left is good. The easy way to set up the count down is good. Easy for the kid to use so s/he won’t get annoyed by using it.

Works well, loud
Works well, beeping is loud and high pitched and sometimes takes 6 tries to make it stop. Flashing light option does not work for me.

Great product. White board wipes 100% clean. We’ve only had it a few days and it had greatly improved the time management of our children (age 4.5 and 6). Each child has their own. Instead of getting distracted or running to us looking for what to do next, they consult this device. We’ve never gotten out of the house so quickly, or quietly…ever! When they complete a list, they get a star on their weekly reward chart. Enough stars gets them a whole chocolate bar of their choosing at the end of each week. The device comes exactly as shown and is super simple to use. I draw pictures on the lines for my 4.5 yr old. Ive posted a photo of the reward chart we use instead, also bought on Amazon. In tandem, the two are a system that is working. I am happy and hopeful and a little less exhausted. Worth it.

Would rate 4.5 stars if possible. Great product, very well made with a nice retro look. I am a full-time working adult that simply finds this a great way to be more productive with my mornings and evenings, as well as more substantial tasks on the weekends. Of course you could use a simple kitchen timer, or your phone to set time blocks for various activities or tasks, but the analogue nature of this product and the built in whiteboard for lists, makes it more efficient and easier to use. It is also very satisfying to slide the buttons over, visually indicating you have completed a task on your list.My only (mild) criticisms are:The alarm – it is way too loud, and the flashing light option isn’t really useful for me as it’s hard to notice, especially if you’re not sitting directly in front of it. You can rectify the situation with a piece of tape to cover the speaker holes on he back (muffling the sound), but different alarm options or a way to control the volume would be extremely helpful. The whiteboard – there is only one. It would be more suitable to have a few included or an option to buy several more. If you have several daily tasks or routines that don’t vary, it would save having to write them out over and over. My solution was to photocopy the board several times and use those for my routines that never change. The other model that has this option looks far too “busy” for me. I prefer this simplistic layout. The colour – personally, I love the orange and white! However, it seems to be the only colour available for this particular model and that may not be to everyone’s taste. I would have liked to see some different colour options as well, especially for the purpose of gifting. Not sure if you would buy this for the “goth” in your life…The marketing – this is mostly marketed towards parents with children who are deemed to have learning challenges, and while this may be a very helpful tool for them, I think the emphasis on this might deter others (ie all parents, or people who would like to increase their own productivity) from buying it. I happened to watch a youtube video where the creator gave a product review of this item in terms of their own productivity, and if it wasn’t for that, I likely wouldn’t have found this product or have been tempted to buy it solely based on the item’s description. It gives the impression there must be “something wrong with you” if you think this would be helpful in your life. Maybe that’s true (!!), but it certainly discourages you from making the purchase. I think any child or adult could find this useful as it’s so easy for anyone to lose track of time. You may not need it for the same things forever, but it helps build new routines and and habits. How often have you heard someone say that they don’t have time for exercise, or cooking from scratch or making art etc. They do have time; they just aren’t holding themselves accountable by increasing their productivity. This tool helps keep you accountable. Even if you only have 10 minutes each for a few tasks only: “do a little, do it often” and you’ll be surprised at how quickly you’ll see changes and results. People with “all or nothing” mindsets (like me) will find this helpful.

This is quite the interesting gadget. I got it for myself as I hate sound alarms, and this has a light option. I also happen to love to-do lists, so this is the best of both worlds, so I don’t have to use up a notebook page every time I need to organize my tasks. I use the timer to create focus sessions for work, and the list to create a list of the top daily to-dos. The list slides upwards and is easy to remove, write on, and replace. It’s easier to do that than write while the list is installed (in my opinion). The little switches aren’t too loose; they have just enough snap to be satisfying to “check off”. The timer itself seems accurate for time, and the little window below it shows current time. It’s easy to set with the buttons on the back of the device, but take a peek at the instructions to reduce frustrations.Notably, it’s important to not try to spin the timer knob counter-clockwise from the 0 mark – this may harm or break the system. There is a warning about it, but it’s important to reiterate. The timer itself is silent – there is no ticking. The little orange part just reduces in size until it hits 0. If you have the “light” option as the indicator, it’ll glow green while the timer is counting down, and blink red once the timer hits zero. There is a switch on the back to change from light to sound, but I do not use the sound option, as previously stated. The device is rechargeable, which is convenient, and it sits nicely on a flat surface. If your desk is a bit tilted, note that it may fall backwards (depending on how it is placed) as there is no back foot, just a wider base for it to balance on.

This timer is a great tool for helping to stay on track with various tasks and goals. In some cases, it’s easy to spend too much time on a particular task, and in other cases it’s beneficial to stay focused for a set amount of time, and this timer can help with both. The timer itself is nice and lightweight, easy to use and carry around the home. The battery-operated timer can be recharged via the USB-C port on the back. The removable dry erase task panel, along with its neighboring checkbox sliders provide an easy way to track important tasks and goals, and record their completion. The timer is capable of up to a 1-hour countdown, which is easy to set with the visual dial on the front. The end of a countdown can be signaled audibly or by a flashing light, configured by a toggle switch on the back. The countdown alert can be dismissed by tapping the snooze-style button on the top, and there is a small clock at the bottom which is convenient for keeping the time of day handy.Overall, I’ve found this timer beneficial for keeping the kids focused on homework after school. Throughout the day it’s been useful for me to budget time on certain tasks like sending emails, and has also been helpful as a kitchen timer. This timer is a nice all-in-one solution, and I would recommend it.
