This is the “pillow Wedge” I wanted for years
Both my shoulders are messed up – one already a reverse total replacement (way less pain than before) and the other goes under the knife next week. The surgery definitely remedies the ongoing arthritic pain, but I still need a comfortable way to lounge in bed, even sleep when I get upper respiratory congestion. I bought several wedges over the years, but mostly they are much the same and none are really comfortable after 40 minutes or so. Forget sleeping on them. And all are narrow (20-21″), so both arms hang off unless I cross them on my torso [and duct tape them there]. This product is SO comfortable. I admit after a couple of days, I was a bit stymied as to where to stow all 4 pieces when not using them. However, those 4 pieces make this product so flexible and tailored to your needs and preference, minute by minute, day by day. The back support is 25″ wide – my shoulders actually fit on it. Study the photos of the back support: the molded shape (which reminds me of my old Calculus text) lets you customize your sitting angles and degree of tilt from the mattress surface. The back wedge can also be placed in several ways to customize those options further. All surfaces of the back wedge are textured so it does not slip or slide after placement; same for the back surface of the back support. I really think the manufacturer needs to create a video (not a quickie 30-second one) that actually shows many of the alternative positions possible with just the back wedge and support. I actually looked online (to no avail) for at least a user guide recommending placements. I never used a knee wedge before this, but it is really an asset for napping. And the simple wedge that resembles a velveteen Lincoln Log is wonderful as a head/neck rest and also as a elevation aide for my yet-to-be-augmented upper arm and shoulder. If you like lounging in bed to watch TV, read, crochet, knit, etc. – the purchase of this wedge support system is well justified.

I bought this pillow system for near upright sleeping. My lungs are really beat up and sleeping at an incline is a necessity. Also it solved my nighttime acid reflux problem. It was a nightly problem but for the short time I’ve had this pillow, I’m good. It makes breathing while sleeping easier.This set up is great. I’ve not used it long but so far so good. If anything changes I’ll update my review.The quality is great. Strong zippers, soft smooth surface. I’ll use it as is for a while then probably wrap it in a nice sheet or something. It’s not necessary as the covers come off for cleaning but we’ll see. The fabric is quite warm and fuzzy. Ridiculously soft. I prefer a cooler pillow case.The pieces can be arranged many different ways for different purposes. As you can see in the product pictures. I use the side sleeping arrangement. The bottoms are textured so the pieces do not slide around at all. It’s really quite nice.The whole thing came wrapped up nicely in plastic and carefully boxed. It is foam and as such was squished. The instructions (just a paper) state to let it sit unwrapped for two days to air out. Again it is foam and foam can absorb factory smells and stuff I would imagine. I didn’t notice any smells but I placed everything by an opened windows for two days anyhow.I’m using it as I type this review and even with my head resting against it, smell nothing.The foam is firm. I’m a light dude so I don’t sink into it much at all but it does give comfortably when I press into it. It would more than likely be great for heavier persons.Long story short, this thing is well worth the money I paid for it. I should have bought one sooner. I’m 40 and when I find things like this that improve my quality of life, I get super excited. It’s weird getting old lol

Wish I bought these sooner
I bought these for me and my wife as Xmas gifts for multiple reasons to see how it would work for my back, hip and leg pain that has developed after 2 motorcycle accidents along with snoring and wife’s sciatic pain and snoring. I wish I bought these years ago. Normally takes me 5 minutes just to be able to get into a standing position when I wake up in the morning but not after sleeping with these. We both wake up with minimal pain neither of us snore and I’m able to get out of bed into a standing position in a minute. Highly recommend for anyone with back, hip, leg pain or just for someone who snores. They’re comfortable and I’m a big guy and they’re firm but soft and don’t buckle down or go flat on you. I’m normally a side sleeper but these make sleeping reclined on my back in a zero g position very easy and very comfortable
