Fabulous! Not weighted, great for those with limited strength!
Perfection! Not weighted, with good sized grips and the correct angle!I have tried countless other utensils to help my elderly relative who has severe arthritis, dementia and osteoporosis, and none of them worked; they were all way too heavy or were shaped wrong. These are NOT weighted, and they are PERFECT.Easily grabbed, easily held, easily washed, food stays on the utensil and actually makes it into the mouth; their angle is ideal for those who have problems bending their wrists, hands and fingers. My relative can feed herself now, and that has done a lot for her self esteem. Mealtimes are better! Thank you, BaseSmall!!! If I could give these more stars, I would!(If you want weighted adaptive flatware, this is not what you’re looking for; but there are millions of other listings for those- keep looking!)

HELP MY DAD EAT BETTER AND EASIER
MY FATHER HAS PROBLEMS GRIPPING REGULAR SIZE UTENSILS. THE RUBBER COVERS DIDN’T WORK FOR HIM. THIS SET MAKES MEAL TIME SO MUCH EASIER FOR HIM TO USE. THEY FIT HIS ADULT HANDS AND THE CURVE TO THE SPOON AND FORK HAVE MADE HIM LESS ANXIOUS ABOUT APPEARANCES AT MEALTIME.

Works well but spoons are almost flat.
This weighed set works well with drawbacks being the spoons are very shallow and do not work well for liquids or bottom of the bowl cereal. The butter knife is dull. This set is bendable which works great for adaptation.

product handle could be a little smaller
Handle was too large for my wife to use, but nothing wrong with the product. It her partial paralysis that was the problem

Great design for people with disabilities
My 92 yo father with Parkinson’s was having trouble getting food to his mouth by himself with regular silverware. He hated getting help. These are a game changer! He’s no able to feed himself again.

A+
I purchased these for a family member. I received a message from that person giving them an A+. They are only slightly weighted which may not be enough for some. The grip and the angle seem to be just right; allowing a motion that feels natural; not awkward and uncomfortable.

OMG!!!!
I bought these for my wonderful 81 year old Dad. He started having difficulties eating with regular utensils because of his shaking hands, and became frustrated. He told me these are the best gift he’s ever gotten. The function, quality, size are perfect. What I really liked is they have for left and right handed people. He’s a lefty so it’s even more challenging. Amazon really does have everything.

They worked better then I ever expected.. I have used them for a person who has Parkinsons and needs the weight to be able to hold on, now back to feeding themselves….Works great and very durable.

I just got these BaseSmall Adaptive Utensils for my mom, who is over 80 years old and has some hand tremors. They really have made a big difference in her everyday meals. The bent design at 42°, along with the weight, is causing her to grip and use it without hassle. Seriously reduced the mess and stress she used to deal with while eating. Moreover, they are really well-made for lefties like her.Overall, I am very satisfied with this set and would definitely recommend it to anyone in need of some good eating utensils for their elderly family members.

Mon fils est non-voyant et prend des médicaments contre l’épilepsie qui cause des tremblements. Ces ustensiles sont parfaits pour les 2 cas. Ils sont bien faits. Il utilise gaucher et c’est parfait.
