Made eating easier for patient with Parkinson’s
Got these for a family member who has Parkinson’s disease and was having a hard time eating independently. After a few uses, he referred to the spoon as being “magic”. I think it really made a difference

lightweight with easy to hold handles
–4-Piece Adaptive Utensils Set – 42°Angled Parkinsons Utensils, Weighted Utensils for Tremors and Parkinsons Patients, Blue (Right-Handed)–The listing indicates I ordered 2.5oz each silverware. These utensils are lightweight and I cannot understand why they are listed as being weighted. We have a set of weighted silverware and there is a big difference. These are not really going to help someone with Parkinson’s unless it is only grip issues you are dealing with. They have a good angle and good grip, making them good for assisting with self feeding issues that do not include tremor. Due to incorrect product title and description I cannot provide a high star rating. I would probably give them 4 or 5 stars if they were described properly.

Well Designed and Sturdy Adaptive Utensils for Parkinson’s Patients
I got this utensil set for my uncle who is living with Parkinson’s, and it has been very helpful. The quality is impressive and the utensils feel sturdy and well made. The metal parts are securely fixed into the thick plastic handles, which are easy to grip. The 42 degree angled design makes eating more manageable and comfortable, especially for someone with limited hand mobility. The utensils have a nice weight to them, not too heavy, but steady enough to provide control without shaking. The size is just right for adult hands, making them easy to hold and use without strain. It is a thoughtful and practical set that really supports independence and daily comfort. Great value for money and a well designed product.

This review is for the “4-Piece Adaptive Utensils Set – 42°Angled Parkinsons Utensils…” I seem to be one of the few recipients of the 2.5 oz adaptive flatware. They do feel light so I’m not sure they would steady a severe tremor. My sister has had Parkinson’s for several years but she is extremely active and attends exercise classes to keep herself functioning. Her health care team thinks she is amazing. Her tremor is controlled but progressing to where she may want to use this set (in private). The metal parts are securely seated into the plastic handles. The angled approach seems very helpful. I think these will last and be available when the time comes that she needs more adaptive helpers.
