Instructions are to drill into wood floor? No feet and entire weight is balanced on a screw. Weird.
I purchased another one of these (nonvine) a few months ago and the other one is better for a variety of reasons. I’m not allowed to have pictures of both, but here is where this one is lacking.A) the base plate is smallerB) the grip is smallerC) the baseplate is uneven and balanced on the screw holding the rod in placeD) THERE ARE NO FEET. There is nothing between the metal pad and the ground except of for the screw. There are 4 holes there though and the instructions show, as optional, to screw into wood?So I guess if you have a hot tub inside and you happen to be on wood floors that you want to screw this handle into, this is a good option. My hot tub is outside on concrete. I’m not going to screw this into the concrete. They really should include some type of rubber grommets to go into the 4 holes, or at least some single sided adhesive felt or rubber pads.If it had feet and was stable, then I can see this being useful, but as it is now with the hardware included, I wouldn’t trust this getting out of bed.Of course, I’m going to put some felt pads on it and probably end up doing some fairly major modifications- but that’s not something most people would be willing or want to do- especially for a new product and especially when the other one I bought worked right out of the box.

Love it!
I love this! Makes it so much easier to get out of our spa. Only draw back is we could not use it until we drained the spa to slide it under! It’s great!!

Works great
The pool store wanted $299 for the same thing. Works perfect! Love the way you can reverse it so easily

Not as sturdy as I’d like but doing the job
I needed to replace my original handrail and found this one to be a pretty good price and the base would fit exactly where my rusted out older one was. The only issue I have is that the tube itself is smaller diameter and the mount braces not nearly as sturdy and I’m having to tighten the bolts repeatedly, so will use LokTite on them. It was relatively easy to install but only with an impact wrench to drive my own lag screws into the deck below since the screws provided were pretty small and I didn’t trust them to stand up to lots of wear and tear.
