AAC device
The seller is great. The product is better than nothing for a nonverbal child with no other AAC but it has a weird voice. For $20 it’s a good way to introduce AAC

Great simple tool!
My daughter wasn’t able to bring her school AAC home for summer. To defend against regression, this tool is amazing. She’s already started using it functionally & I am THRILLED! A great buy!

It’s a good start, but…
This mini-AAC is a great way to introduce your speech delayed child to AAC devices. It has a couple of features that I don’t like. 1. The speaker has an English accent and you can’t change it. If you’re buying this for an adult, that’s not a big deal. But if you are buying this for a speech delayed child, this can confuse them. 2. There is no volume control and it’s pretty loud. My kid didn’t want to use it for a few weeks because it set off his sound sensitivity. 3. My toddler accidentally re-records the personalized buttons all the time because there is no way to lock them from being edited.

Great little device!
We like this AAC device. It’s lightweight, portable, and very easy to customize. It would be great for a child just starting out with an AAC device. It would also work well for someone who is verbal but limited, in that it has some pretty commonly requested statements readily available and would definitely help to clarify communication skills. My son is 7 and is currently using an AAC program on an iPad. This product can’t replace the vastness of his current program or the communication skills he’s working on, but could eventually supplement him when he becomes more verbal. I also LOVE that the price point allows for parents to start the AAC acquisition without it being cost prohibitive.

Disappointed
Very disappointed. Voice is a British accent which is very confusing for an autistic child who is already having problems understanding. Returned it today.update: Customer service is great as they keep reaching out to me to offer a refund. (Amazon already refunded my money when I returned the item) But I’m still disappointed with the product which is why I returned. Would love to see an American English version sometime soon. Description did not state this was manufactured by an English company and would contain a British accent.

This is a great device for non verbal children. It is sturdy for those children who like to throw objects. It has opened up communication for me and my son which leads to less meltdowns when not being able to express himself.Great gadget and great price

First of all it comes in the perfect sized box for it .so points for not wasting packaging .It has beautiful colours and very clear visuals and the two programmable buttons are a fantastic idea so you can tailor it to your users needs .With it’s small light weight size it is also perfect for taking out and about as it doesn’t take up much space .I would highly recommend to anyone to give this a go . Unfortunately my daughter didn’t want to use it but I know she would of loved it when she was younger , especially alongside her pecs communication board . .Honestly for the price it’s more than worth your money ❤️

Our daughter had a left hemispherotomy in Nov 20 and I soooo wish we had had this then. It was really hard to communicate in the first few weeks after her op as she was left with severe aphasia. This would have made life so much easier. I would imagine anyone who has recently had a stroke and has aphasia would also benefit. Very easy to use. Purpose made so no faffing trying to find an app. Really helpful. The only improvement that could be made would be making the buttons easier to press. A great piece of kit from this company. Thank you!
