Easy to put on, clear sound, accurate readings
I bought this because my digital cuff was not accurate. I wanted to be sure I was getting the right reading. The quality is good, I can hear everything clearly and it works well. I love that it can be tuned in case the dial is off. I have large arms and it fits well. It’s easy to put on and check my own blood pressure.

    Beats the digital ones!
After dumping a couple of hundred dollars into a series of computerized blood pressure monitors, all of which had some problem with reliability, repeatability, accuracy, speed, etc., I acquired this inexpensive more traditional solution. Not only is the price right, the fact that it is analog gives one a better sense of your heart and BP than the digital, it is easy to use, having a nice hands free stethoscope feature, and is really quick to get results. I guess this is just one of those things where the traditional approach can still beat the contemporary, at least for the less expensive units…If you want to keep a history of measurements, you may end up using paper and pencil 🙂

Accurate, easy to use and hear
I’ve used numerous automatic arm and wrist cuffs and their accuracy is not always the best. The bell of the stethoscope is attached to the cuff which will not be over the antecubital area during use. This was not a problem and I could hear the beats very well. I feel much more confident with the readings from this analog blood pressure cuff than using a digital cuff. Getting the cuff on the first time is fiddly so suggest loosening and keeping velcro attached then slipping the loose cuff off your arm after taking your blood pressure. It’s easier to slip your arm back into the loosely velcro-ed cuff and then tightening when on your arm.

Ok unit, typical for this type of machine
It was about what I expected.I’m not real pleased with the cuff though because I have limited mobility in my right arm so it’s difficult adjust it on my left.

You get what you pay for
We bought this because of the reasonable price and the convenience of having a stethoscope built into the cuff. However it has been very disappointing. My wife and I are both health care professionals and are used to taking BPs. We both have reached a point where we need to monitor BP, but this cuff is awkward to use, and it has not proven accurate. The cuff is too flimsy to put on easily, as it bunches and gets tangled in the metal frame. It also has a tendency to “pop” and release the pressure while pumping it up. But most importantly, it does not give accurate readings compare to other cuffs we have tried, both manual and automatic. It often gives systolic readings some 20-30 points higher than the other cuffs. This is no help when you’re trying to gauge the effectiveness of certain medications. If it wasn’t past the return window, this one would have gone back.

    Comes with recalibration tool
Works great! Comes with a recalibration tool and instructions on how to recalibrate which is very important for accuracy.

Cuff is too small for a normal adult arm
Cuff is too small for a normal adult arm. Be sure to measure your bicep with a tape measure and compare to the description before ordering this cuff. Chances are it won’t fit.

    EASY TO USE
This is very easy to use, especially when you need to check your blood pressure often like I do. I was a nurse for 43 years and did not like the digital blood pressure cuffs from their beginning. When they were introduced at the hospital, where I worked, I refused to use them after I realized how undependable digital blood pressure readings were . I bought my own manual cuff and used it the entire time of my nursing . I highly recommend manual blood pressure cuffs over any digital blood pressure machines . Regardless of how expensive they are . Digital blood pressure cuffs are very unreliable
