So easy to use …
So easy to use I’m almost glad I need to monitor my BP/pulse! This wrist cuff snaps on, stays in place and you get a quick reading. The reading includes an AHA classification – Normal, Elevated, Hypertension stage 1, Hypertension stage 2 – in a vertical bar code. Plus, there is an IHB – irregular heart beat – indicator!A&D makes a quality device. I owned their older arm cuff model and may have replaced batteries one time in 25+ yrs. Also, I called their customer support and was impressed with the person I talked with. The price was great, compared to what the pharmacy offered for an generic brand.

Generally good depending on your needs
OK.Pros: Silent. Does not announce your blood pressure with a loud voice that you cannot be turned off (Of course some people may want their BP cuff to announce their readings). Lightweight. Compact. Good for travel. Seems more accurate than other kinds of wrist BP cuffs. Simple to use.Cons: Is not a rechargeable type. A bit expensive for what it is. A bit too simple; If you need it to store previous BP readings and/or have a function to record more than one person’s BP readings, this does not have those features (I have another real cheap-o BP cuff that (supposedly) records readings for more than one person and stores past readings but it is not so easy to figure out). But I do like this A&D Medical Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor so far.I will have to continue to use the item and see how it works on a longer term basis.I will update as I am able to.UPDATE JULY 14 2025I originally said that the BP cuff does not store previous BP readings. I have learned to use the cuff a bit more since and it seems that it does store some previous readings. But it has been quite an accurate little BP cuff so far. I originally gave it 3 stars, I updated it to 4.I hope it continues to perform properly. I will update according to any more relevant findings.

Great for quick readings
Works great, fast and accurate. You may get error message or low/inaccurate reading if the wrist is very small or bigger than average wrist size. Durable.

Do not purchase
Way off. Reading way high. Said my BP was 187/87. Went to the er thinking I was in trouble. Er readings were 121/64 and 119/62. Please dont purchase this product it will do nothing positive and can cause anxiety and stress.

Easy to Use
Product is easy to use. Readings are accurate. Does not come with a carry bag. The VA uses the upper arm version on it.

A good Product
The cuff performs as add says. My only problem is that sometimes it blows up the cuff so tightly that I am in pain and the reading is a quite high. If I rest and keep arm resting on table in front of me and really try to relax it does not squash arm so tightly and the reading is closer to one taken by nurse. I am pleased with it as I cannot find one with a preset that will not kill my arm. It is a good product.

Quality still up for grabs
I’ve had this for a couple of months now. It seems to give high readings, but I’m adjusting to a new medication, never having had a problem with my blood pressure before. I lost my old fashioned arm cuff automatic BP machine and so bought this one for a simpler way to take my BP. I noticed the higher readings right away, but wasn’t sure about them. Then today I found my old fashioned arm cuff again. So out of curiosity I took my BP with the upper arm cuff and then this wrist machine. It was off by 20 points according to the wrist machine! 113/64 (upper arm cuff) and 133/81 with the wrist machine. That’s quite a difference! I wonder which one is correct? I am going to go to my doctors with the results and ask him. I’ve always had low blood pressure and now he’s saying I need medication. hmmm or do I need to stop using a bad BP machine?
