Just what we needed
It was easy to set up and works great! This is much less expensive than the other products we considered. The free app is perfect tomorrow monitor.

Great for caregivers—can keep track remotely
the best thing about this device that stood out from others is that it has wifi connectivity—this means that I can see when my dad (with dimentia) has taken his pills or even notifies me if he missed them. It is lockable and makes the next set of pills available at a set time so he doesnt accidentally take the wrong ones. I have the ability to override the ‘open’ time remotely if he needs to take them earlier due to an apppt or something. I wish it would also let me reverse the tray remotely on the rare occasion that he misses a dose and I wish that the top was clear and not frosted so we could view the pills easier. It would be too tricky for my dad to actually fill it so I do that for him, but it works really well at giving me peace of mind that he is taking the right pills at the right time.

Disappointing.
Doesn’t always pour out all the meds for a certain hour x they stick – or it includes 1 or 2 from next compartment. One or two pills spill while trying to get them out. Last the cassette is difficult to pick up due to shape.

Works great couldn’t be happier
I bought this medication dispenser for my father who has dementia. He would take a whole week of meds in one day. This unit stops that since he can’t access more meds than what he’s supposed to take. It locks and I have hidden the key. The set up wasn’t real hard but just a little confusing at first but did get it. Another great feature it notifies you on the app when the meds were taken. I couldn’t be happier.

Works through WiFi
This is the best thing I have bought in a long time. I can monitor my family members medicine (once daily). He overdosed on an antibiotic and this is great because he doesn’t have to remember to take his meds because the device reminds him. I can call and remind him if he doesn’t take it. I haven’t had to so far. I set it up on my iPhone through his WiFi .

Smart Pill Dispenser Machine
I recently purchased the Smart Pill Dispenser Machine for my son, who has a disability and recently transitioned into a college dorm. He struggles with short-term memory loss due to his Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH), so he really needs a reliable reminder system to help him manage his medications. This dispenser is equipped with both audio and visual alerts, which serve as nudges for him to take his meds on time. Furthermore, the accompanying free app is a fantastic feature that keeps caregivers and family members in the loop. They receive real-time notifications when it’s time for him to take his medications, and they can also verify whether he has actually taken them. Caregivers can remotely monitor his medication schedule, confirming not only when it’s time to take the pills but also that the dispenser’s lid has been opened—all streamlined through a user-friendly interface. To enhance safety, the TimelyMed pill dispenser includes a locking mechanism with two keys, ensuring that access to the medication is securely restricted. The dispenser alerts users with a pleasant female voice when it’s time to take medication, though this is often followed by a rather loud and repetitive alarm that can be quite jarring. One significant drawback I’ve encountered is that the device must be picked up and inverted to dispense the medication, which can be challenging to do with one hand. It also requires a convenient place to store the keys, as those are essential for locking the unit. Moreover, the dispenser is not particularly portable since it needs to be connected to a charger to function optimally.Loading the medication into the device is somewhat time-consuming and demands a high level of concentration to ensure everything is placed correctly. I have some concerns about its durability, particularly regarding how well it might hold up if dropped onto a hard floor. He found the keys to be a bit fiddly, and he hasn’t yet succeeded in locking the dispenser securely.Despite these drawbacks, this product is incredibly useful for individuals who require a structured medication regimen. When comparing it to other pill dispensers, the TimelyMed stands out as a premium option that truly deserves a five-star rating. While its price may feel a bit steep for some, the peace of mind it offers, especially for managing multiple medications and peace of mind, makes it a worthwhile investment. With the capability to accommodate up to nine doses a day and store enough medication for an entire month, it’s a solid solution for anyone needing a reliable system to ensure they stay on track with their medication schedules.

Works most of the time
I bought this for my Grandpa 3 months ago to monitor his pills. Most of the time it works great but sometimes it will skip pill slots.

Amazing!! Wish I had it sooner!
This has been a godsend!! I don’t worry as much about my uncle with his meds and give him the independence and me the peace of mind to get notified if he didn’t take his meds right away.

Brilliant when you get an understanding of functionality, although when refilling my mother’s medication I have to completely reset to start a new 3 x daily schedule. Maybe my lack of understanding with App and product, but would be good if you could top up empty trays and it continues to dispense without resetting as have to leave an evening dose in pot and she starts with machine dispensing the following morning.Be careful if there are cut/half doses of pill with others, as these can sometimes wedge at back of tray and need leverage to move.Overall, a great product which gives peace of mind for those you care about without being there to dispense.

I think this product would be a game changer to many, at sub £100 its definitely worth it, at time of writing the review its closer to £120 which is pushing it a bit.Firstly a few things to cover the bold statement of ‘the machine can verify if the medication has been taken’ just isn’t true – yes it can tell if the lid has been opened, it can’t tell if the medication has been knocked on the floor, taken out and not actually taken. I know you can’t compensate for every eventuality but the statement is a bit of a bold one to have in my opinion – it just stuck out to me but maybe i’m reading too much into it.Also if you have poor dexterity, it isn’t the easiest to get the medication out of the segments, so being far away but actually realising your relative can’t get them out the holes would be very frustrating. It is on the large side, but i don’t think thats an issue really as i’m guessing if you are using this it needs to be at the front of someones mind to take the important medication in the first place.Being perfectly honest in my review and having used the alternative ‘Tabtime’ product, which received a 5 star review from us, i’d save the extra money and buy that one. This is however a bit more of an upmarket product with wifi and app notifications so if you want a gadget too then this one is for you and you’d maybe give it the 5 star. That being said remember if its for elderly relatives who won’t necessarily have wifi internet you might be wasting your money too.It does feel quality, despite the ‘Mannuel’ as its written on the ‘manual’ being a little less English than we would and the dosage rings feeling cheap it is easy to use and the functionality is there.

This product certainly looks impressive, but it falls short in a few key areas. If you’re storing tablets that are sensitive to moisture or humidity, be aware that this container isn’t airtight, which could be a concern for the effectiveness of your medications. The companion app feels a bit clunky and could benefit from a more intuitive interface. Battery life of the device is also disappointing: it struggles to last more than two days on a full charge. One of the more frustrating limitations is the lack of manual control. You can’t advance to the next slot if it’s outside the preset schedule, which reduces flexibility, especially if your routine changes or your medications are more ad hoc.Overall, while it has a modern design, the functionality doesn’t quite live up to expectations.

This time tablet storage is so fantastic works as a great reminder for the elderly or people with bad memories to take their pills and also prevents them from overdosing by taking the pills more than required

This is an easy tablet dispenser to set up and use with the app. The sections are large enough to fit all my tablets for the day in and the reminder is a useful feature. It is quite large but well built but it is not suitable for elderly as it is very techy and more suitable for young ones as need to use an app to set timer.
