Customers say

Customers find these adaptive eating utensils work well and are particularly helpful for those with severe tremors. The utensils are easy to hold and make eating easier, with one customer noting their father can eat independently again. The build quality is good, though opinions on weight are mixed, with some finding them well-weighted while others say they’re too heavy. The size receives mixed feedback, with some appreciating the oversized design while others find the wholes too small, and while many consider the price good, one customer describes it as a waste of money.

    Excellent aid for Parkinson’s Patient
These are fabulous! My mother has Parkinson’s Disease and has a lot of difficulty holding utensils and bringing them to her mouth. I gave her these for Christmas and she said they helped her a lot. At the facility where she lives they use handles that attach to normal utensils but they are not very sturdy and are loose fitting. The Adaptive Eating Utensils by Celley are very sturdy (both the handle and the steel portion) and the handles are not detachable. The only negative aspect of this item is that there is not option to have a name engraved on them! My mom was worried someone at her facility would steal hers. I ended up using a bright red nail polish and painting her name on the black handle part.

    Working great for my mother!
My mother’s hands shake a lot and this set has been great. Work great . They are just heavy enough to where her hands don’t shake as bad when she’s eating. Great price and great product . She has thanked me many times for these. I’m thinking of getting her another set of them

    Quality and durable
Everything is good. I have MS. Lower lumbar spine canal nerve damage. These help me with my hands. I get constriction and. these help give my hands dexterity and stability. Like anything else you have to care for them. Clean by hand.

Where the joints to the hand are located.
The handles on these are too thick for my husbands hand to get around. I have already messaged you wanting to know how I can return them but have not gotten a response. His fingers have been removed at the knuckle closest to the hand . These are very nice utensils but they just don’t work for him. What can you do for us?Toni

    Perfect for arthritis sufferers
Perfect oversized and gripping utensils.Don’t bother with those cheap add on grips, the wholes are too small and very difficult to install if you have arthritis

Good utensils but didn’t work for my mother’s tremor
I bought these for my mother who has a tremor due to Parkinson’s. They did not help her with eating. But they’re good quality.

    NOT Weighted
I purchased these for a parent who has Parkinson’s because the description states they are weighted: “They have a weighted rubber grip handle.” They are not weighted. They are simply adaptive in that each utensil has a little bump out “weight support” stand that makes them easier to pick up off the table. Yes, they are larger and easier to use, but they are not weighted utensils.

What a fantastic set of cutlery. Well made and heavy duty. And a decent price. That’s rare today. I recommend these.

He comprado estos cubiertos para mi mamá de 82 años que sufre de temblores en las manos y está encantada con el resultado, ha mejorado su calidad de vida de manera notoria y ya está pensando en llevárselos a los restaurantes cuando salga a comer afuera.
