Customers say
Customers find the timer easy to use and read, particularly for children, and appreciate its color, with one noting the pleasant green hue. The device is effective for teaching time management, and one customer mentions using it for 20-minute meditation sessions. The functionality and sound quality receive mixed feedback – while some say it works well, others report it stops working, and while some like the alarm sound, others find the buzzer sound unsatisfactory. Durability is also mixed, with several customers reporting it breaks after a few uses.

Simple – Repeatable – Easy to use. Great for gaming.
I have been looking (not here) for a long time to find a simple timer, to time In-Game event intervals such as resource readiness (to manage time & profits better).FOUND IT!Love the NO TICKING lack of sound except for the alarm, which I can set at 2 levels, I use low and it is great for an office type environment. Me, I use it for gaming! Just what I needed – simple and easy to turn for us with ‘older hands’. LOVE the visual indicator dial. I can see it across a sizeable room.Did I mention it does not tick! OMG, that is great!Happy timing to all!

Simple and effective but ‘manual’ could be improved
I use a warm eye mask for dry eye syndrome and I set this timer for 10 minutes. I don’t need exactitude i.e. seconds. It doesn’t have that. I just try to hit the 10 minute line. Go forward clockwise past the time you want and then back to it. I like the visual color patch that identifies the amount of time you set because sometimes I peek under the mask to see how much time is left. It’s good for 20 minute meditation sessions too. I particularly like that it is quiet–no ticking sound–and that the alarm is short and audible but not noisy. I also like that batteries were included and there is a little tab to pull out first that shows you the unit is new and shows you the batteries inside. The little one card user manual mentions options for the alarm–loud or low, 3 or 60 seconds, but doesn’t explain how to do it. It only explains how to turn the alarm sound off completely. I looked at the timer but it wasn’t obvious to me how to change the loud or low or the amount of time the alarm sounds. I think you probably have to open the battery area to do it. But, since I’m happy with the ‘default’ settings the timer came with, the little manual’s omissions are not a deal breaker for me.

Great timer for my 10 year old
Easy to use and not annoyingly loud. My son has ADHD and sometimes he needs the timer to show how much time he has left, at a glance. This was recommended to me by a mother of another child with ADHD and Anxiety. We’ve been using it all summer for various reasons, including tech time, watching the time before leaving the house, watching the time before it’s time for bed, and re-setting it every 10 minutes to make sure he can stay on track for longer tasks, like cleaning his room. This will go to school with him as he enters 5th grade next month.

A Good Product, but be sure the timer has started (jiggle or clunk the device)
The timer works great and the alarm is not too loud to wake people in other rooms. However, the timer does not always start by just setting the clock forward XX minutes. I usually clunk the timer a few times before I set it, to make sure that it is ‘awake and ready’, and then check after setting it that the clock is actually running down!

I’m buying 2 more!
My daughter has ADHD so she wanted a timer that would be loud when it rang so she could hear it but you didn’t hear the constant clicking like most timers. This has been the greatest! It helps her keep on track and reminds her when to not walk away from the kitchen. I’m buying one for a friend’s child and one for myself (I hate the clicking as well). Great product.

Great device but only proved another distraction!
The device is perfect, just as described–easy to use, no ticking, alarm is brief and not too loud but didn’t help for why it was purchased. Intention was to help some students who are easily distracted, lose track of time, don’t stay on task or all always asking how many minutes left.It didn’t really help with those issues–was either another distraction, just not in the student’s skill set to monitor the time counting down, using more than 1 time in the class resulted in alarms going off at different times –distracting for others and now everyone wanted one!

Simple timer works great
This is a good simple timer used to help me keep track of time spending on multiple projects while working from home. The beep at the end is loud and startles me every time, but maybe that’s a good thing.

It helps so much
I have one child with diagnosed ADHD and ODD and another child that just needs a little help with time management. This timer has been brilliant! I have used it for so many things- brushing teeth, bath time, getting dressed, practicing piano, etc. Time is an abstract concept and this timer seems to help my daughter visually understand how much time she actually uses and how much time she has left to do something. She has difficulties accepting direction from adults, plus she was struggling understanding that if she took too much time doing one task, that she’d have less time allotted for doing something else. This timer seems to help her feel more independent and in charge of herself as she learns to regulate her time management.

I bought 3 of these. Yes they’re great for kitchen timer but I love these because they’re visual. Great for children to set timer and see elapsed time visually. Each child has their own timer to manage screen time . Of course i can control their screens and set timers on phones or tablets but this is a stand alone visual tool for them to manage time and learn responsibilities and earn trust . For that reason i am OK buying this expensive timer . Upon expiration there is a beeping sequence to let them know times up.

My son uses this everyday, however, I find it frustrating that the buzzer is so loud. It says you can turn off the sound but it’s a multi step process each time and no child is ever going to go to the trouble so unless you set it it is going to have a VERY loud signal. It is user friendly and comes in every color and very helpful for kids to manage time.

It was my first time to know timer when my friend mentioned it. After I bought one from Amazon, it made my life easier and amazing! I’m not overstate. With this timer, my daughter’s eating speed became quicker and she learned clock! She’s 5 years old, it is very amazing how the timer worked. I would recommended the timer to all my friends, it is a treasure design!

Mine is not silent as you do hear the ticking of each second. The beeping is a bit obnoxious and the low sound setting is still a bit loud. Wouldn’t recommend this particular one for use with those sensitive to sounds.Easy to use and to read.

I have super sensitive ears, enough that my husband has to put his watch in the drawer when we sleep. There is no sound coming from this timer. I love it. I also put the alarm sound to low and 3 seconds. What I love about it too is that you don’t have to run for it when the alarm goes off! Major plus. I use it to switch between tasks at home: reading, crafting, meals, cleaning. Especially now that everyone is at home (COVID-19), it keeps me sane, going ahead with my routine.
