A Smart Hub That Truly Brings the Family Together!
The Amazon Echo Show 15 has been a complete game changer for our home! I mounted it in a central area so that our entire family could take full advantage of the large screen—and we use it every single day. The calendar display alone is worth it. It’s easy to see from across the room and helps keep everyone on schedule (a miracle in a busy household!).What I love most is the natural voice interaction—Alexa responds so smoothly, and it doesn’t feel robotic at all. The face and voice recognition is incredibly accurate, so each family member has their own profile and personalized experience. From music to reminders to photos, it’s tailored to whoever’s standing in front of it.If you’re looking for a practical, stylish, and truly smart device that the whole family can use, the Echo Show 15 is it. Totally worth the investment.📌 Bonus: It looks sleek and modern on the wall—right above our coffee bar!

10 Stars! No issues, read for user tips
I’ve had so many Echos over the years, beginning with the 1st Gen, can’t live without them anymore since so much of our home is Alexa connected. I originally got a refurbished 1st Gen Echo Show 15″, not knowing the 2nd gen was coming out. So glad I returned it for the new 21″ Echo Show, it’s absolutely phenomenal!Streaming video: Easy to set up streaming (which I’ve done on our 5″, 8″, and 10″ Echos). The best part of the Echo Show is that Fire TV is included. I easily logged into Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, Max, Peacock, Paramount, Disney+, and Apple TV (other Echo shows only allowed me Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon, I believe). The setup and remote is the same as FireTV.Streaming audio: Easy to connect with your Audible account, and Apple Music or Spotify. I can also stream NPR and podcasts. If you are having a problem with Echo playing the right song, try this: “Echo, play Blinding Lights by the Weeknd on Apple Music” instead just saying “Echo, play Blinding Lights.” Same “Echo, play Christmas Jazz on Apple Music” instead of “Echo, play Christmas Music.” The more specific you are, the better results.Calendar: I tried the Skylight and it is useless. The Echo Show will connect to your Apple Calendars. Our family does shared calendars, and everything shares over to our Echo Show, including announcing events and times to leave.Drop in: It’s amazing! The camera will zoom and adjust automatically. Our Echo Show 10 does this, but it’s on a swivel and always runs into things. This one is much smarter! You can drop in from another Alexa device, or simple the Alexa app on a smart phone.Photos: We have all of our Echo Shows displaying photos that I have uploaded to Amazon photos and then select which photos to show using the Alexa app. Screen is so clear and large, better than any smart frame I’ve ever seen. And friends/family can share photos to it.Announcements: Announcements will show on the screen and announce (I also have push notifications to my watch/phone). Echo hears them perfectly and announces them correctly (our Echo 8 has stopped properly listening and announcing). You can also announce from the Alexa app if you are not home, very convenient for parents :)Widgets: Widgets are easy to add and adjust, just be patient and go through the process.Ads: To remove (most) ads, go into settings on the screen and turn everything to off! I barely get any. If you are still getting those annoying “Wicked” ads, it’s because you have on the “Theme” setting. Once I turned that off, no more “Wicked” (or other future sponsored theme movies), even though we do like the theme setting (Mario is my favorite!).Pricing: Look for a sale. I got the 21″ for $350 on the Black Friday Sale. Would have cost me more than that for a TV, sound bar, and Apple TV for our kitchen (which was our old setup).I LOVE all of our Echo devices. Our Gen 1 is still working amazingly, and glad to add the Echo 21″ to our home.

The Echo Show 21 is a Worthy Investment
Just added the Echo Show 21 to my smart home; not as a hub, but as a personal device with Fire TV for my office. I’m an avid music and movie buff.  We have several other echo devices throughout our home. Therefore, I can escape to my office which is off limits to others (smile) even though I have a complete media room with Dolby Atmos. I opted for the compatible stand versus wall mounting. It’s fits perfectly on a cabinet next to my desk. The HD screen resolution is clear and crisp and complements the FireTV for movies. Luckily, my office layout allows for ambient light to the rear of the Echo Show 21; so glare is not an issue with its highly reflective screen. The stereo speakers (high, mid and low) are surprisingly good for an enclosure of its size. I was able to purchase the Echo Sub from another source; as it’s not available on Amazon which is strange? The sub increased the low end and allowed the internal speakers to focus on mids and highs.  The listening experience for music was greatly improved. However, with or without the sub IMO you won’t be disappointed. The included remote is a nice addition. Its minimalist design is simple and straight forward. Most will have no difficulty in mastering its functions.Setup of both the Echo Show 21 and Echo Sub was for the most part was straight forward. As I’m a Prime member the Echo Show 21 found my account and joined my network with no intervention by me.  Although the Echo Sub powered up and found my network as well; a reboot was required of both devcies to get them in sync.  After the reboot all was well.I can control all my smart devices such as speakers (including non-echo like Sonos), lights, TV’s and ADT security system. Adding apps and connecting to my accounts such as AppleMusic, Tidal, Paramount and others is easy. Having the ability to view all my security cameras at once is an extra plus! 5 Stars as it does what it’s designed to do. A lesser rating would be personal nit-picking.  Least I forget; the Echo Show 21 and Echo Sub were both well packaged. Therefore, all said I would highly recommend the Echo Show 21 for those wanting a smart hub or personal device (like me) for music and movies. BTW…get the Echo Sub if you can. It makes for a complete audio package for music.Unfortunately, at this time low-end effects do not transfer to the Echo Sub for movies viewed on the Fire TV. Hopefully Amazon will rectify the omission in a future software update. However, it’s not a deal breaker for me.
