Customers say
Customers find the timer cute and handy for teaching young kids, particularly helpful for children with ADHD, and appreciate its fun design. However, the functionality and durability receive mixed reviews – while some say it works well, others report it stops working after first use and breaks immediately. Moreover, the size is criticized as too small, and customers consider it not worth the $20 price tag.

Easy and fun
This is a great timer for kids who are just learning how to tell time. The colors are vibrant and fun and this is a very functional timer. It is easy to use and fun.

Great product – functional and durable
Very handy for teaching young kids how to respect time limitsI am a repeat buyer – kids somehow respect this much more than an adult saying “it’s time up now!!”

Works Well, But Has Some Quirks
Picked this up along with the matching Animal Preschool Watch for my 2.5-year-old, and overall, it’s a fun and functional visual timer. It works fine for keeping track of time, but there are a few quirks worth noting. One odd design choice: the alarm goes off about 30 seconds before time is actually up. I can’t decide if I like that feature or not, but what’s more confusing is that it doesn’t go off again at 0. When the alarm sounds, there’s still a sliver of blue showing, which makes it feel like it’s almost done but not quite.I also wish the blue countdown circle was color-coded to match the animals on the watch—it would have made the connection between the two even more intuitive for kids. Another minor gripe is that the stop/start button is very easy to press, so my toddler can (and does) grab it and accidentally pause or reset the timer. That said, it does what it’s supposed to do, and the design is cute. Just be aware of the quirks if you’re using it as a precise countdown timer.

My 2-year-old’s new favorite parent
This review is really more for the idea of using a timer with your toddler than THIS PARTICULAR timer. But I’ll get to that, too.We were really struggling with getting our little one to bed in a reasonable amount of time. Every step of the bedtime process took forever. Getting into the bath = crying. Getting out = crying. Getting pj’s on = crying. You get it. Then, we introduced this little guy and omg, game changer! As soon as the timer goes off little guy just walks to the bathroom, or happily into his room for books. It’s remarkable, confusing, and so nice. Now, onto this timer. I really like it. The beeps are loud enough but not crazy. Using the animals for the time increments & a blue shade is super fun, and I think helps dude understand the difference between 5 minutes and 25 minutes. It was a bit pricey, but what isn’t these days!?! The features mentioned above really do make it worth the extra $$.

Look elsewhere.
Came broken. Return required for refund. This was my second timer because the first one broke. Can’t recommend.

Works well
Cute timer that we use for our 4 year old. It keeps it fun with the colors and animals but it’s helped us cut down the time she drags her feet to eat, use the bathroom and get ready for bed. To turn it off was a little odd, you have to turn right and then back left all the way to get it to stop. We’re happy with it and it does the trick!

It did not last long
We had for a couple of months before it stop working. It was cute and help timing activities for my toddler, but is small and not durable

Efficient and practical everyday !
I was not expecting to love this timer as much as I do! I have a 8 years old boy and I’m using it many times a day for reading time, homework, teethbrushing, time out, taking turns, screen time, even when I’m cooking ;-). It is so easy to set up and the fact that you can see the time left is way better than a digital alarm for children. They can use it by themselves without borrowing my phone :-). I like the colors and animals, it is fun and pretty. The size is perfect for my kid and it is lightweight, they can easily take it around the house for whatever I or they need. It is silent (no ticking during when the time is running). You can choose the volume of the alarm. Personally, I prefer the lowest alarm sound. It is a great product, helpfull everyday.

My four year old grandson carries the clock everywhere. Good preparation for school next year.

Just arrived today. Turned the knob to countdown once. After it did the blue paper fell behind a large slit and doesn’t come back up. Broken after one use. Quite disappointed as we need the visual aid for our two year-old with speech delays.

It’s not obvious in the product listing but you can see the split on the product background image very obviously – see photo attached. There is also a red ink on the back of the product. I’m contemplating returning it just that I can’t find something else similar with the pictures and waiting for a replacement might end up taking a while.

Vraiment très petit. Je l’ai retourné, et j’ai du payer les frais de poste.
