Removable wedge is very difficult to remove, but cushion is comfortable
My sister got this cushion for her wheelchair. She has a lot of health problems, and as a result struggles to be on her feet and is underweight. She’s also quite petite, 5’1″ and about 95 pounds. The pommel wedge forced her to sit in an awkward position that didn’t really work for her frame. The velcro connecting the wedge to the cushion is extremely strong. My sister hurt her hand removing it, and now that it’s off, she keeps them far away from one another lest the wedge stick to the cushion again by accident. Now that the wedge is out of the way, the cushion is very comfortable, an improvement over the previous cushion she was using. It’s also nice because the size fits into her wheelchair, which is made for more petite people, whereas the old one scraped against the wheels.

Did the job
This was exactly what was needed to keep a patient from sliding forward in wheelchair. Center has velcro and can be removed and us tall enough to stay in place. Cover fabric isn’t wipeable, but can be removed for laundering. Laundering may not be conducive in long term care due weekly laundry schedule, but good for home!

Well there are as pros with this really nice wheelchair cushion and not any real cons that I can think of. The pros include the following: I ordered this cushion for my sister-in-law to use when she comes over to my house, and she was very thankful… She says that it is definitely more comfortable than she imagined that it would be… and the cushion is well designed and seems to be manufactured to all last for the long haul. In my humble opinion this really nice wheelchair cushion is more than a great value, and it comes highly recommended from me.

Nice quality wheelchair cushion with a pommel
This wheelchair seat cushion with a pommel is very well made and comfortable. The backing is non-slip, with small dots that connect to a hard surface. It has a cover for the seat and the pommel that can be washed. The zippers have large teeth and zip/unzip easily. The clips and straps are also large and sturdy, so they can fasten it to the chair. The velcro for the pommel is VERY strong! You can adjust the spacing of the pommel and rest assured it won’t come back up again. One difference between the product photos and the one I received is that mine has a large hole in the center. This takes a bit of adjusting to and could be a problem if you are trying to use it for a smaller-framed person. It seems supportive and the mesh top helps it to avoid being too hot on the seat. For $49, this is a good deal.

Perfect for any wheelchair user! Maximum comfort
This is such a nice cushion for my daughter’s wheelchair. It has a straps to attach it to the chair so it stays in place. It fits a standard chair perfect! It is definitely comfortable, perfect amount of stuffing! The underside of the cushion has rubber dots so it doesn’t slide! Such a great need for anyone that uses a wheelchair to be comfortable! This will help tremendously with pain from sitting a long time.

Good support with helpful safety features
I got this wheelchair cushion for my dad and it feels durable and gives better support over his standard seat. The wedge design really does help keep his hips properly positioned, and the cushioning provides pain relief during long sitting periods. Nice Cushion
Nice quality, functional pillow with good comfort and height. Product is lightweight and provides good slip support with a short pommel which makes entry and exit from the chair easier. Provides a good amount of pain relief and is easy to clean.

comfortable for paients
I work in a health clinic and occasionally have need for a wheelchair to assist patients during our visits. I added this for a couple of patients last week. They found it very comfortable to use. Neither was much of a risk to sliding out of the chair, but I’m glad to have that feature just in case.
