The PERFECT cane, period!
Had a little accident and broke several bones in my left foot. According to the doc, a cane will be a good idea even after the bones heal. So I decided if I’m gonna be on the gimpy side, I’m at least going to do it with style. Though the price of this cane was considerably higher than most, I can now attest that — da-yum — it was SO worth it!The craftsmanship is evident from the moment you take the cane from the carefully-packed box. In a word, it is beautiful! It feels super-solid in the hand and the weight, while not exactly “heavy,” is definitely substantial; it inspires confidence. Also, I’m not a violent guy, but this thing would work about as well as a baseball bat with regard to self-defense. It’s that formidable.The handle is meticulously crafted and fits my hand like I was born with it there. The finish is impeccable and the brass band is a thing of beauty. Seriously, everything about this cane just screams quality and brilliant design.I bought a slightly longer one than I thought I might need and cut it down to size (removing about an inch) with a miter box saw. The rubber foot was a tiny bit difficult to remove, but that has to be the case in order to keep it in place during heavy usage. It’s also nice that they sent along a second rubber foot and a wrist strap, though I’m not using that at the moment.I got the deep cherry red finish on mine and it looks GREAT. I’ve been using mine for the past week or two and can attest that it works about as well as one could hope for. It feels like a natural extension of my arm and provides all the support I’ll (hopefully) ever need. If you’re looking for the best cane for any money, look no further. You’re not going to find anything better. This thing is essentially perfect, and that’s not a word I use often.

The product craftsmanship of this cane is nothing short of “Excellent”!! It was made with quality materials and crafted with fine workmanship. The only issue I had with this item was that the length of the cane was too long for me @ 36″. When it arrived and after I assembled the cane, I realized that it was too long, therefore, I returned the item and ordered a 34″ cane which should be just right.I received the new replacement cane the next day, on Saturday, and it was just as expected. A beautiful cane with the same quality and craftsmanship as the first shipment, but with the perfect length.If you buy a walking cane from Asterom, I am confident that you will be getting the best cane on the market. Furthermore, the customer service was professional, prompt, and very kind and helpful. I wish other companies would follow their standards. Extremely impressed with the quality of the of the Cherry finish and strength of the Oak Wood shaft and handle, both were protectively packaged and delivered boxed. I’m 5’9” approx 165 lbs 72 year female 95% recovered from multiple left pelvic fractures and a preexisting arthritic knee and found the table measurement guide accurate for my height which is a 35” cane. I was so excited once I received it, I took it out for a spin just an hour later when I went out to catch up with good friends and a bite to eat.The ergonomically designed handle fits comfortably and naturally within the palm of my hand in the correct position with the main load on the shaft and my index finger pointing down the shaft for maximum distribution as specified in the enclosed recommendations. I love that the company provides instructions in the use of the cane for proper user stability. The handle connects solidly to the shaft by a sturdy 1 1/2” screw into a metal threaded long holed nut so there’s no risk of stripping as a metal into wooden only threaded hole would occur.I’ve always been doubtful of stylish wooden canes support and strength by this handmade Ukraine crafted one has erased all my doubts and placed instead confidence and self assurance in my stride and strength of support.Love the Celtic designed cane ring, it accents the cherry finish and the additional accessories of an extra rubber cane tip and strap. I can already see another one in my near future!
