Handgrip is so comfortable and provides great stability. Plus it’s just beautiful.
Amazing! This solid wood, beautifully made cane is no where to be found in the marketplace except here. It’s much more sturdy feeling under your hand than the lightweight metal canes. It feels much more stable, which is the whole purpose of a cane. My favorite part is the handgrip. I can’t stand the rounded “loop” end that most canes have. I’ve never understood the ergonomics of that. The smooth, well finished handgrip fits a human hand perfectly. It’s perfection! Plus, it’s really expensive looking because of the superb workmanship. (Love that this is made in the Ukraine. I’m grateful that I have a small way of supporting them.)

The PERFECT cane, period!
Had a little accident and broke several bones in my left foot. According to the doc, a cane will be a good idea even after the bones heal. So I decided if I’m gonna be on the gimpy side, I’m at least going to do it with style. Though the price of this cane was considerably higher than most, I can now attest that — da-yum — it was SO worth it!The craftsmanship is evident from the moment you take the cane from the carefully-packed box. In a word, it is beautiful! It feels super-solid in the hand and the weight, while not exactly “heavy,” is definitely substantial; it inspires confidence. Also, I’m not a violent guy, but this thing would work about as well as a baseball bat with regard to self-defense. It’s that formidable.The handle is meticulously crafted and fits my hand like I was born with it there. The finish is impeccable and the brass band is a thing of beauty. Seriously, everything about this cane just screams quality and brilliant design.I bought a slightly longer one than I thought I might need and cut it down to size (removing about an inch) with a miter box saw. The rubber foot was a tiny bit difficult to remove, but that has to be the case in order to keep it in place during heavy usage. It’s also nice that they sent along a second rubber foot and a wrist strap, though I’m not using that at the moment.I got the deep cherry red finish on mine and it looks GREAT. I’ve been using mine for the past week or two and can attest that it works about as well as one could hope for. It feels like a natural extension of my arm and provides all the support I’ll (hopefully) ever need. If you’re looking for the best cane for any money, look no further. You’re not going to find anything better. This thing is essentially perfect, and that’s not a word I use often.

Sturdy, Reliable and Trustworthy like you need
Wonderful cane, that came quickly. I ordered this cane for my father so he would have a sturdier cane when walking around and it meets expectations beautifully! I was nervous buying a cane on line since I wasn’t going to physically see the cane prior to purchasing it. We ordered this one for “nicer” events because it’s the first time my father has ever had to use a cane. The concern on his end has been about the other canes considered higher end not being sturdy enough to hold his weight and keep him balanced (he’s in cancer treatments and his mobility is affected). He was very pleased with how nice the cane looked, and how smooth the grip of the handle is. He is also happy that it has the base that makes it “like any walking cane from the store” (meaning the base is a non slip grip on the base and so he doesn’t have any fear of it slipping away from under him).For shipping, this cane is SUPER carefully packaged and so when I opened it I had no issue or concern of it possibly being broken when it arrived. It was easy to assemble, and is worth the price!I ordered two canes at the same time (one from another company) and this cane came ON TIME, with bubble wrap and a nice Amazon box. (A big difference from the other) you can tell this cane was packaged by someone who cares about their product.Thank you!!

Quality Walks with my new cane
Extremely well made and more comfortable to use than the collapsing metal ones. I feel more secure with this solid wood cane and it is much more beautiful than any others. At a cost of 3x the off-the-shelf tin ones, it is a fantastic value. This one will not break or rust, it will last forever. I am considering buying a second with a different stain they are so cool, compliments on it all the time!

I received my new Asterom cane this afternoon and man, I am so very pleased with it! It’s made of oak and has a nice weight to it. If his thing had to be used as a last ditch defensive weapon, it would be like getting hit with an old style police nightstick! The cherry finish is just beautiful.The ergonomic handle fits my hand as if it were custom made just for me. The cherry finish is flawless. The decorative ring is heavy cast metal and is finished and polished to a luster that complements the rest of the cane. The strap is high quality and has a small D-ring attached. The elastic band is high quality and should last for years. Comes with an extra tip. It is impressive looking!It was very well packaged so as not to receive any damage during shipment and delivery.I would do business with Asterom again without hesitation!
