Great for families of kids with autism.
I’m a pediatrician and diagnose kids with autism in my office. I always recommend this book to families with a new diagnosis. Clear, easy to read, comprehensive fromSymptoms , to diagnosis, treatments, myths, tests, etc.

    Important read for parents
I bought this book for my sister. They believe her daughter is autistic and she doesn’t have any information. I spoke to the physician I work for and she recommended this book for her. She felt it was very helpful and thinks it will help along the way

Perfect autism 101 content for an uninformed and concerned parent
This should be the first book any parent should read if they have a child that is diagnosed with ASD or if they simply want to learn. Might not cover treatments and interventions in detail but gives you a great starting off point.

    Not Helpful
The flow of the information was disjointed. The style was more like a school textbook and difficult to follow. Also included extraneous info relating to other disorders.
