No instructions
I am not able to install these. They don’t come with instructions, and there’s nothing in the ad that helps you understand how to use them. At this point, I’m aggravated enough that I’m done trying. There is one side with a screw and something that looks like a zip tie. It seems like you would be able to unscrew it to release the zip tie, then wrap it around a pole and screw it back together, but I can’t get the zip tie open. This is just to attach it to the wheelchair or walker. To attach the cane, it has a stretchy piece of silicone with notches, which would wrap around the cane and use the notches to select how tight you need it to hold the cane. This has proven to be too difficult for me because the silicone piece is not attached; it’s just held on by stretching it and attaching it to the plastic knobs on the holder. You need about three hands: one to hold the cane and two to attach the stretchy silicone strap. It would make sense to me to have one side of the strap permanently attached.I’m in my 50s and have been blessed with being pretty perceptive my whole life. However, I find these cane holders to be difficult and aggravating; I certainly wouldn’t recommend them for someone older.

I’d do 2.5 stars for being half OK, but I’m rounding down.
The hard plastic side grips great, but the rubber strap barely holds on to anything. I’d rather it was a hard clasp of some sort, but that little rubber piece, if anything brushes it, it pops off. Then, someone has to pick up the cane.
