Best transfer board on the market!
Fantastic slide board! Works perfectly, and is great for individuals who shouldn’t use standard slide boards due to shearing forces. This is especially important for those recovering from pressure sore surgery. Easy to use and durable, and worth the expense. Everyone at the facility I was at loved the board and wanted them for all the facility! Now that I’m home, I use it daily and even take it with me when I know I’m going to need to transfer while I’m out. It’s slightly more cumbersome to handle when out and about than a standard transfer board, but again, the ease of use and lack of shearing forces make it 100% worth it.

    Great product!
My husband found out about the Beasey board when he was an inpatient at a physical therapy rehab center. He was more comfortable with the size and shape of the Beasey board than with the standard wooden transfer board. The Beasey board’s extra length provides added security especially when the patient is just learning to transfer from bed to wheelchair. The sliding disk facilitates the move while still requiring the patient to use his/her muscles to make the transfer. He highly recommends the Beasey board. It is more expensive than the traditional wooden board and Medicare does not pay for the Beasey board. It is worth the additional cost!

    Very happy with board
This transfer board really made transferring my mother from her wheelchair to bed and toilet much easier on both her and family members. The board is the best we have used compared to other boards we have tried. The only negative comment I can make about the board is the cost. I think the cost is high for a transfer board.

This thing is gerat! Very easy to use!
It is a little longer than the typical transfer board and the sliding round seat makes a world of difference in moving from the wheel chair to every other place a wheelchair person has to move to. It may be somewhat expensive; but, It is well worth having when the patient can’t put weight in his feet to stand. It is so much easier for both the patient and the care giver. Don’t be concerned about the strength and quality. It is extremely well made of strong PVC.I was the receiver a 120 mile per hour, head-on collision, which most can’t believe I survived. I sustained 9 broken ribs, two of which punctured my lung, broken right ankle, muscle damage to my left leg, neck trauma, brain concussion, and massive breakage of my entire pelvis region. My entire pelvis region is now and forever more being held together with a 12 inch long, steel bolt, steel plates and 26 steel screws! It has been 3 months since the person crossed the center line and plowed into my pick-up and Doctors say it could very well be another month or so before I can even begin to put any weight on either of my feet. With the use of this amazing transfer board, I am able, with some help from my life mate, transfer from my wheelchair to anyplace I need to be. It’s great for all transfers including into and out of the car.Remember, the transfer surfaces need to be within 3 inches of each other for best results. This is well worth the cost!Rodger Morales Lake Havasu City, Az.

Works well if you have strong legs.
Still haven’t been able to make it work for husband who has very little strength in legs or upper body.

    Very useful
So, we got this for a family member who has dementia and has stopped being able to transfer herself. Unfortunately, we had to return it because she got too wiggly and we were scared of her falling off.All that said, the board itself was not the concern, it was my family member. The birder was super sturdy and a VERY easy glide. I think if you were using this to help someone who is more cooperative, it would be a huge help.

No return policy. No answer from seller
Product did not work. I would sit on wheel but wheel did not move causing to me to slide over without the wheel. I been using transfer boards over 40 years so I’m not new to this. Thought this board had a great idea. I do not sit straight up which may be the problem with this type of board. Also this board was a little short for my needs, like just 2 inches short. I bought this board through Amazon. So I was not worry should I have to return it. But there is no return when I went to my orders and the retailer has not answered me back.

    Life changing
Recently becoming wheelchair bound due to significant loss of feeling and use of my legs is life changing in a very bad way. This tool allows me to transfer from bed to wheelchair; wheelchair to recliner, etc. Mostly, I use it with some help, but not much. Core and upper body strength are important. the medium was the right size choice for me. The long one might be needed to transfer to/from a car. The ideal situation is to transfer high to low but the reverse is possible. Sometimes my clothing allows me to slip off the seat part. Some resistant material on the seat might help. This definitely increases my independence and protects my care giver. Im a small older woman so It’s a bit heavy. I think it will fit in the back pocket of my wheelchair. But a backpack might be needed if you don’t have someone to carry it. Use with supervision and help with stability is recommended.
