This is a great book ! Lots of great insights from professionals in the field . Not boring !Every champion has a interesting and personal story to share. This is a much needed book because every family , Caregiver , and persons with Complex communication needs has there own personal story often in isolation and without adequate available Supports and Services . So this book represents a collection from the professionals perspective . This is a exciting new niche field and a emerging technology that is in its first innings . Hopefully this book can positively impact families that better days are ahead with new technologies and Implementation stratagies , and to inspire to do your research and reach out ( way out if needed ) and support those in need .

A Thoughtful, Compelling Read!
As a father to a wonderful daughter who has autism, and an uncle to a beautiful nephew who has Rubentstein Taybi Disorder (he uses AAC), I found this book a compelling and informative read. Each chapter conveyed an intriguing, distinct journey in to the field of AAC, with the commonality being that these leaders paved their path with vision, insight, dedication, and pure heart. India Ochs’ chapter went charmingly against the grain, in a sense, and made the read even more dynamic. I appreciated that each chapter culminated with practical recommendations. These leaders will inspire you!
