Ease of use and stability
The hospital PT healthcare worker suggested I get a bed rail to help me get in and out of bed after a MAJOR back surgery. I chose this one and I’m so glad I did. It’s very stable because of the 2 legs that brace the rail on the floor, plus theres a section that goes between the mattress and box springs!!! Not only does it make it easier to get in and out of bed, the cushioned circular grab bar makes it so much easier to adjust your position while in bed!!!!! Worth every penny!!!!!!

It wasn’t difficult to put together but not clear either. There was also an Allen wrench included and not a single part takes an Allen wrench 😂As for the product it works great. Very sturdy and easy to adjust to the level your mattress and box spring are at.PSA the extra feet stoppers are fit if you need to adjust even higher than the legs allow – the directions don’t tell you that.

Smaller/Unobtrusive
This is the fourth rail I have ordered for my father. He is not a large man. This version provides the support he needs without twisting, turning, bending, while still allowing room for him to get up and down into bed. The ones that do not have rails to the floor do not provide enough support. One version was far too large and he had no room to get out of bed. Another was larger, but the pins did not stay in the frame making it dangerous.

Well made and very secure for older folks that are struggling standing and sitting alone. Also gives peace that they have protection from rolling out of bed.

The top of our box spring is 12″ from the floor, mattress is 14″ thick and foam topper 3″. The unit fits very securely and the legs add to the stability. My wife (not very tall) has slipped in the past while getting into and out of bed. This unit gives her something to hold onto. Does not get in her way while sleeping and is useful when turning. Easy to assemble and install, the instructions are in the pouch or can be viewed on line. Great product.

So far this rail has been really helpful while I’m recovering. Easy for hubby to set up and slides easily under the mattress. The only (minor) downside is that the strap it came with which you use to secure it to the frame is not long enough for our king bed, but it’s no big deal as we found another use for it.

I highly recommend viewing the two videos connected with the images for this product availabe on Amazon. They go into the features and do a stellar job illustrating assembling this product. I almost thought the product came without instructions until halfway through the assembly I found the instructions in the little black bag LOL. I couldn’t figure out the strap for a while until I viewed the second video which shows the strap going through two brackets on the part of the frame that slides between the mattress and box spring. The strap appears to wrap around the boxspring to keep the frame from moving. I made the mistake of assembling the legs on the wrong end of the frame and after I finished assembly I found the part that slides under the mattress was too high for the bed and I had to switch the legs around. Other than that it is a good quality product; sturdy and doesn’t take up too much space on my 103 year old Mother’s bed.
