OUTSTANDING – If you’re on the fence, go for it.
I ordered these for my Mother who is experiencing severe dexterity issues during her battle with cancer and they have been a game changer. Meal times are easier for everyone involved and have allowed her to regain some of her independence and sense of self. Most everything else has been taken from her, she can’t walk, she can’t shower, she can’t brush her hair, she can’t drive, she can’t even sit upright most of the time anymore and is primarily bed bound, she feels like she can’t do anything anymore, and while these aren’t miracle forks that fix that, they do give her something she *CAN* do, she can feed herself like the adult she is and it makes *the* difference. The straps are great, but can be easily removed/reattached if needed. The spoon is big enough that even when her hand shakes some of the food off there’s still enough on there that she gets a healthy bite and the bendable/adjustable neck makes it easy on her wrists so she doesn’t have to totally extend her arm to straighten the fork. She has been able to maintain her weight and eat her normal everyday food and not the “baby” version that has to be made into finger/hand held food or a paste. They are easy to clean and most importantly easy for her to grab and maneuver. They aren’t weighted either which although it isn’t as helpful for people with tremors, it is helpful for those with weakness.I cannot say it loudly enough, these are awesome! I recommend these to anyone and everyone who is experiencing or has a loved one experiencing dexterity issues, especially when combined with weighted bracelets for tremors. As my Dad would say, these are thebomb.com!

  2. Wonderful Product

    Easy to grip
Spoon is very useful for my Partner, as her arthritis & nerve damage make her fingers stiff. The spoon is large on handle with gel structure making it more comfortable and strap gives her more flexibility. She is eating herself and doing it well. Have not used fork yet because the bowl we use is easy with spoon.

    Very helpful
I bought these for my husband who’s hands are very swollen from something we’re still trying to diagnose. It’s been difficult for him to grip things. He has mostly used the fork so far and says it helps a lot. I’m thinking of buying another set to take with us when we go out for meals.

Not able to effectively use them!
My special needs daughter is having trouble using them. The material on grip is way too hard and, the ridges bother her. Also, we can twist the spoon/ folk only so far before the whole thing twists off. The grip, utensils should also be available in different sizes. She’s Down syndrome and, her hands, mouth are small.

Great for arthritic hands and weak grip.
These are exactly what I needed. My range of motion within my wrist is limited and my grip has weakened in my hand. I am able to eat without overextending in discomfort. Wish I would have gotten them sooner.Bending them to the right position wasn’t too difficult, although I did need a little assistance with bending the fork more.

    Thank you
Bought these for my dad who was on Hospice care, he got to use them for a month before he passed. He had the top knuckle of his thumb and the two top knuckles of his index and middle fingers amputated over the course of the prior few years due to diabetes, later developed neuropathy and during his last year there was a significant decline in his dexterity. I got them for him for Christmas because it broke my heart to see him so discouraged having such a hard time feeding himself/constantly dropping his utensils. I’m grateful that I was able to help him hold onto a little more of his independence during his last month.
