Quality product at a good price
I purchased this Beurer EM44 TENS unit after receiving muscle stimulator treatment at my chiropractor’s office and wanted to continue with some treatment on my own. I suffer from lower back issues and this electrical stimulation really helps relieve some of the tension in the muscles. I have used my new TENS product every day since receiving it a few days ago and I feel it comes pretty close to the one they use in the Dr’s office. So far I have only used it at the level 7 intensity and can feel some relief. And you can dial it clear up to 50! The instruction book is very intuitive (and appreciated). It was easy to understand and didn’t take all day to read through and figure things out. The product quality is impressive for the price and the size is small enough that I can take it with me when I go on vacation. I am really excited with this purchase and will also be using it on fatigued muscles in the near future. To be prepared, I also purchased extra snap on pads, but the ones that come with the Unit should last for quite awhile. But this will also be helpful if my husband needs to use the Unit, so that he will have his own pads to use for it.

Great alternative to chiropractic treatments.
Since I received chiropractic treatments with TENS unit at doctor’s office and say the results I started searching for alternatives for using TENS unit at home. I was looking for ease of use, good quality- price balance and the device that actually works and provides pain relief. I do a lot of physical work and have back issues and constant muscle issues. After reading a gazillion of reviews and doing some research about TENS units I bought Beurer one and another cheaper option to compare. And the truth is if you buy a cheaper device you can definitely tell the difference. Beurer makes pro devices and even by the look and feel of the device you can tell that it’s a real deal. The digital TENS device is super easy to use, it even has batteries included! The instruction book is very thorough and explains everything so you would not be intimidated. The device give you relief from pain very quickly and very efficiently. It works so well that I bought two more for my relatives for Christmas along with Beurer mini massagers. It’s totally worth the money and your body will thank you!

This is a really cool little TENS Device!
I just received the Beurer EM44 TENS Device that I ordered through Amazon.com and in fact, I have it on as I’m writing this. I initially was drawn to this unit by its relatively simple, user friendly display and its familiar “i-Something” like controls. Moreover, the fact that I noticed that Beurer is a German company and hence the EM44 is assumingly a German designed product (although made in China), I felt comfortable that it would be a practical and effective device. They say that Beurer is the #1 Health Care brand throughout the EU. In any event, I really have nothing to compare it to, as this is my first TENS Device, but thus far, I have no complaints. It comes with 4 reusable electrode pads and the device itself is lighter and smaller than I expected. In terms of power, I was surprised how “potent” this little device is. It runs on three non-rechargeable AAA batteries, but I’m currently using it at a setting of 22 and that is plenty for my needs. Not bad considering you can adjust the level up to 50! Finally, being that is so compact and light, it is easily concealed under clothing for use outside the home or even in the office if desired. So suffice it to say, I’m a happy new customer!

Terrific pocket-sized TENS Unit!
My physical therapist gave me a TENS unit to use for neck, back and shoulder pain which was often debilitating and required weekly therapy and medications. After using the TENS unit for a week, I was amazed at the difference of intensity of the pain, as well as reducing my need for pain/muscle relaxing medications. My PT and I searched together and agreed that the Beurer electrostimulation unit seemed quite comparable to what I had been using. I was very pleased when I received it, read how to use it and placed the electrodes appropriately. Initially I believed it would be easier to get it to the right settings and change the programs etc, but the instructions didn’t seem to go into enough detail, in my opinion, for me to be able to fully understand the true capabilities of this device. After a while, having re-read the manual and trying many different options settings, I was able to find a very effect program and my pain all but disappeared! Now that I’ve used it 5-6 times, with excellent results, I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone living with chronic spinal/back, neck and or other nerve pain. This pocket-sized unit comes with a clip that attaches too the unit so it can be clipped on a belt, waist of your trousers or pocket etc. Unfortunately, the only significant downside, once you get past the initial confusion on how to get it up and running, is the electrode pads. The pads that I had on the unit before this could be used up to a month before having to replace them. Also, with my old electrodes, if it any point they lost their stickiness and sustainability, you could rub a little water on them and that would make them sticky again. With the Beurer unit, the electrode pads stopped sticking after the second use and rewetting them is not effective. This will require having to replace the electrode pads much more frequently, which could be costly, depending on how often you use it. Otherwise, I’m very happy with my purchase! Oh, and it even came with its own batteries!

i used the previous one for 10 years. it stopped working because i stopped using it and the batteries melt inside.when i felt the need to use it, i did not even hesitated; i ordered the almost similar model, and of course i am very happy with it!
