Useful
I bought this pulse oximeter for my 89-year-old grandma after she was sent home on oxygen. I wanted a quick way for her to check her numbers so she’d know when it was time to use her tank. This little meter has done exactly that. It’s simple: you press one button, slip it on, and in about 5 to 8 seconds the screen shows oxygen saturation and pulse. The display is bright and easy to read, and you can tap the button to rotate the orientation so she can see it from whatever angle she’s sitting. When a reading drops out of the normal range the numbers turn red, which makes it obvious at a glance. The waveform at the bottom is also helpful because you can literally see each heartbeat as it’s reading. It feels well made for the price, and it came ready to use with batteries and a lanyard. The auto shutoff after a few seconds saves the batteries, and the spring clip is gentle enough that it doesn’t pinch. A small tip that made readings more consistent for us: if her hands are cold, warming them for a minute helps it lock on faster. I do wish it came with a tiny case, but that’s a minor ask.Overall, this is a dependable, easy-to-use tool that gives my grandma confidence about when she needs her oxygen. It’s not a substitute for medical advice, but it’s been a very reassuring everyday checker in our home. So far it has lasted without breaking and the batteries haven’t died yet.

Clear and easy to Use
This works well and allows you to toggle using the power button too. I like that it comes with its own AAA batteries and has a little manual to use as well. This is such a great tool to have in your emergency kit or even just to check up on your health. I’m happy we have one in our house. It is very durable and easy to read from screen to screen!

Accurate with a quick reading
I can’t tell you how many of these SpO2 fingertip monitors that I personally have either broken or lost while working as well as my crew members due the shear number of patients that we assess daily. Almost every patient gets one this attached during their initial vitals signs and because I work 911 they end up bring dropped or left behind in a patients home. After verifying it was accurate with my cardiac monitor to make sure the readings were exactly the same after testing it on several crew members I put it into service on the truck with a backup one just in case of a failure and to make sure it could read a patient that was hypoxic. The lowest patient I’ve had this read on so far was 81% at room air with a heart rate over 120 and it matched both my cardiac monitor and another portable one. The cost of this SpO2 monitor makes it worth the purchase of several to have as replacements as well. As far as features there are a few things you can do for setup. After powering it up by hitting the only button at the opening end on the top you can keep clicking the power button to change the orientation of the display. This is nice if you are using it for personal use on yourself or the person you are assessing. After you remove it from the finger it powers itself off after 8 seconds. It keeps the same display orientation when you turn it back on as well. It has a finger removed notification if it isn’t on correctly on the finger. After powering up with it on the finger already the first reading took 5 seconds after the initial boot text. Another feature is settings that you access by turning it on, wait for the full display, and then holding down the power button for a few seconds to access a menu. From this menu you can set a few options. The first is a beep setting but this feature isn’t listed and when I turned the feature on it didn’t beep so it must be default in the settings menu for different models. The next three options are for setting the SpO2 low alert which make the reading flash red on the display that can be set as low as 70% and the next two for the heart rate high up to 250bpm and low down to 30bpm. This will display the reading in red and flashes. The next option is a restore to default and the last is a +/- that changes the direct of the number order when changing the ranges. The only addition would be a little case but for the price it’s a great little monitor without one and there is and attached lanyard that come with it as well as 2 AAA batteries as also included.

It works great. Definitely worth having
My initial assessment of this oxygen meter was not positive. In comparison with an older model of oxygen meter I had, it was giving me what I thought was a false reading, however, it turned out that it was right and my older meter was wrong. So my final assessment for this is meter that it works perfectly, and is accurate in it’s readings. I like the design and ease of use, as well as the readability of the unit. I would recommend this oxygen meter./

Easy To Use, Easy To Read, Pharmacy Grade Monitor
I recently ordered the blood oxygen saturation monitor. It arrives in a small box. It comes with two AAA batteries needed to power this small item. My batteries were warped but they still worked alright. The monitor fit my finger fine. If I had to guess, I’d say my pointer finger is an 8 ring size. My ring finger is a 7.5. I had no issues turning it on and reading the output. You can rotate the orientation of the readings by pressing the button several times. The reading area is small but even with my glasses off, I could read it fine. I like that the number for the output turns red when the reading goes below normal. It worked and felt like an item you would find in your local pharmacy store. It also comes with a short wristlet. I do wish it came with it’s own small case to keep the power button from being accidentally turned on. Three stars for meeting expectations.
