It stays cold enough..
Inner elbow is a very sensitive area so it gets down right painful cold so it does its job.

Good product, but be careful of sizing
Overall, I’m quite happy with this product. I like the flat packaging (which allows it to sit easily in the freezer when needed) and when used for compression/general comfort for aches, it has a noticeable effect. I have personally found it works best as a cold compress, but that may just be personal preference. My complaint, and the reason I took off a star, is that the large is really *quite* large. I followed the sizing guidelines, and I’m still swimming in it (for the record, I’m a 5’5″ woman in her mid-40s of average weight). This makes it less useful and convenient, both for compression and general comfort. If there are other reviews to this effect, I’d definitely size down.

It works and has both hot and cold options.
Really like this product. It’s hard to find with both hot and cold capabilities. Price is great and it arrived well packaged and on time.
