Finally a back brace that doesn’t bind in the front
This is a fantastic back brace especially for those of us who might have a bit more belly rolls than we care to admit. Most back braces only have about a 4″ thin band that goes across one’s belly and when you sit, it rolls up around one’s waist and is quite uncomfortable. This back brace is brilliant in its design as it has a front panel that will not roll at all. I love it. It may look difficult to put on but it really isn’t if you use the hand holds on that first set of straps that get attached to the front piece. Really well designed.As for fit, if you happen to fall close the a size between two sizes, err on getting the smaller size would be my recommendation. The velcro for the top set of straps won’t be far enough to pull the back brace to a firm enough hold if you buy a size a bit too large for you. I wish I had gotten the smaller size than the one I bought due to this fact.As for the ice/heat pack, I attempted to use the gel pack by freezing it. It isn’t a very thick gel back and between the material that is on the back brace and my shirt, I’m not sure much coldness actually reached my back before the gel pack became unfrozen. BUT I’ve only tried it during a huge heat wave where the inside of my house got up to 92 degrees! So ice melted way too fast. The gel pack also tends to stick the hard plastic inside the case so removing it can be a bit tricky. You need to slide your hand down to unstick it from the plastic plate.Overall, I love this back braces design. It really helped me during my recent back injury. I’m a fairly quick healer when it comes to my back injuries, but having a back brace during those crucial first couple of days is so important or I just keep tweaking my back and prolonging its recovery. It is very comfortable to wear!! Highly recommend it!

This brace is very thing the seller said it was. It came nicely packaged and included the hot and cold pack. The brace fit great and I felt the support immediately and the pain became much less. Worth every penny! It truly is a medical quality brace! Thank you!

Weighty, snug, support for the spine
The brace fit! I found the brace to be heavy; however, the weight didn’t deter from the intended purpose–supporting the spine. The tension straps fit snuggly and securely around me. The stiff insert that is included in the front panel is removable. I found the entire brace more comfortable without the stiff insert riding across the stomach area.Will update fit, support, and comfort factor after spine surgery.

I’m waiting to have my surgery scheduled for 5 degenerative disc , 3 buldging disc and one herniated disc And the s1 posterior tear. I can’t hardly stand up straight from the pain and my legs going numb. I’ve started wearing this brace although I still have the numbness in legs and arms I can stand straight with this brace. It’s actually helping with the pain in my back and the heat pack it comes with feels so good while wearing the brace. It’s made very well, not nothing like a traditional back brace. I never could get them to stay in place and never benefit from them. I would highly recommend this brace if you’re having back issues.

It fits tight and it was a perfect fit. It constricted my breathing.
Not a bad product but I had to return it after I tried it on and I couldn’t breathe. There is no way I would even keep this product as it didn’t allow me to breathe normally. When you stand straight up with your posture up, your lungs can breathe better because you’re not slouching. I was so super excited to own it, keep it and love it but there is another product they have and it costs $229 I believe and I tried that on decades ago and my friend got hit by a Jet Ski and he was air lifted to the Emergency room at John Muir about 25 years ago and he wore this brace and it is worth every penny for sure. He told me to try it on but he said you must wear it for half an hour and after 30 minutes I can take it off but I had to promise not to take it off. I like it from the minute I tried it on. Then he came over to me and said can I have my back brace please? I took it off to hand it over to him and my back was already used to the brace and he laughed and said you want to keep it on don’t you? I was like uh yeah, it worked so well I don’t know how lazy my back muscles got so lazy or used to something just after 30 minutes of continuous use? Anyway, I will buy this soon as I get a refund on this one and it’s too bad because it looks good in pictures but it doesn’t work at all in my case anyways. Maybe someone in the UFC that’s tall can use it.

Did not come with the ice pack.
Product does help my back but it is very very hot! I may have to get used to it but hot. Not to mention the ice pack it was supposed to come with was not in the package.

Good results – CORRECTION!!
CORRECTION:Wore back brace for a week, before wife disassembled in order to wash. We found the heat/cold pad very well concealed in the back pouch! Apologies for jumping to conclusions that the pad was missing, before a thorough inspection. Great product, but less than perfect user.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Could feel improvement in posture as soon as I put it on. Lower back pain improving slowly with gentle exercise and the brace. Bilateral flank pain much better.Less expensive braces do not have semi-rigid structural components for alignment, and tend to roll-over with body motion; losing vertical support. This brace maintains support whether sitting, standing or walking.

Highly recommended
Have tried a couple such, and this has worked best for me. Disc issues and ongoing back pain have me in PT, but the last flare up wouldn’t subside, so I looked for more supportive appliances. This one has a rigid but curved back support that has helped me work thru the pain, and makes it easier to maintain correct posture when walking, driving, office desk work, spinning, exercising, etc. Bigger than most, but does the most good. With a 32” waist, the small worked best for me. Included gel pack is handy, can be used to heat or ice, and helps to ensure no pressure points. Looks more bulky than it wears; this week I’ve worn it 8+ hours a day, and am getting to where I don’t need it as much. Just don’t forgo your exercises to strengthen your core!
