Reliable, comfortable, and built for the trail!
I’ve been trail running for years, and the Brooks Cascadia 17 might be my favorite version yet. The cushioning is just right—soft enough to protect my feet on rocky trails but firm enough for a responsive feel. The updated outsole grips really well, even on loose gravel and muddy patches, and I feel confident on steep descents. The fit is true to size with a secure heel and roomy toe box, and the upper is breathable without sacrificing durability. I’ve taken these on 10+ mile runs and my feet felt supported the entire time.If you’re looking for a trail runner that can handle a variety of terrain while keeping your feet happy, the Cascadia 17 is a solid choice.

Very comfortable
My fourth or 5th pair of these. I work on concrete floors and do about 25000 steps a day and my feet don’t hurt. Super cute color and the fit amazingly. I am an 8 1/2 and these 81/5 are perfect. Roomy but not sloppy toe box!

Great hiking shoe
I love Brooks and these did not disappoint! I wore them for a 23-mile hike through the Grand Canyon and they were perfect. Even wore them through creeks and they were stabilizing and had great traction. Put them through the washing machine and they came out looking new!

Very comfortable but the toe scuffed and paint peeled already
As someone who’s been working on their feet for years and is now dealing with slightly older feet, comfort is my number one priority when it comes to trail shoes. The Brooks Women’s Cascadia 17 Trail Running Shoe does not disappoint in that department. Absolutely comfortable from the first wear! My feet feel supported, cushioned, and there’s just enough flexibility to move naturally over uneven terrain. Even after longer days, my feet aren’t aching, which is a huge win. However, I’ve got a little disappointment. After just a little wear, the toe area is already scuffed. It’s not a huge deal, but I was really hoping these would hold up better in that department. I mean, for a shoe that’s supposed to withstand rugged trails, the toe’s wear is pretty noticeable and not exactly the durability I expected. It’s a bit of a bummer, especially since the rest of the shoe is holding up great.Overall, I’m still loving the comfort and performance, but the toe issue is a downside I wasn’t anticipating. If durability was just a bit stronger, this would be a perfect trail shoe. Still, I’m hanging on to them for the comfort alone!4 stars. Great for comfort, but watch the toe area.

Confident comfort right out of the box.
Brooks! I love ‘em! Comfortable right out of the box and onto the trail. Great fit! Confident on any surfaces. Our western trails are all uneven and rocky and these are nicely protective of the bottoms of my feet. I’m a notorious toe-stubber and yet these are not even showing wear after several months of weekly 6-10 mile hikes. When these start breaking down, which all trail shoes will eventually, I will buy another pair of Cascadias. I’m in!

Buy this shoes
I highly recommend buying those shoes. I absolutely love their comfort—they’re lightweight and incredibly comfortable. When I walk and go shopping with my mom, they’re so comfortable that I can’t complain about them. The style is awesome, and the functionality is fantastic.

Runs small. Heel hits higher than any other Brooks shoes. Kind of rigid, but great traction.
Love the color! I am not generally one for pink, but made an exception due to the vibrancy of the shoe and how stimulating and exciting it feels. On a practical note, this shoe runs on the smaller size. I generally wear a 7 1/2 to an 8, and purchased an eight and it is too small. I do not have wide feet. Also, this shoe is less flexible and comfortable than other Brooks, tennis shoes. However, it does seem like the tribe would be fantastic on a trail. I only tried it on within the house because I needed to be able to return it if it did not fit, which it does not. But I imagine it would be great on a trail! I am going to exchange for a half size higher. And we will see if it gets more comfortable with time. Also, it’s important to note that all of the Brooks tennis shoes have the capacity to easily remove the insole and put something like super feet insoles in if you have any conditions like high arches and plantar fasciitis like I do. The Brooks insoles are better than many, but not good enough for a foot problem. I am attaching a photo I took of all of the Brooks shoes I have purchased in the last year. Originally, I was just going to try them on and return the ones that didn’t work, but I am now attached to all of them you will see this one as the diva lemon and hot pink. Love, love, love that traction and colorful creativity on these soles!

My favourite running shoe. Well made and durable.

I wanted to love these, as my main running trainers are Brooks (Adrenaline GTS) and they’re the most comfortable things I’ve ever worn on my feet. These weren’t as comfortable. They felt a bit tight plus they were much less roomy in the toe box. I’ve decided to return them as I wasn’t confident enough that they’d be great. After having had plantar fasciitis for over a year, I’m really picky about footwear having to be comfortable and supportive. I want sure enough about these

I do a mixture of running and outdoor bootcamps. These are great for autumn/winter weather and park runs and muddy fields. Really comfortable, great stability shoe as I over pronate. I just got my fastest average pace in the last month after having these for a week. I have wide feet but these are really comforting the toe area and I got my normal size. Although the blue colour at the front quickly got covered in mud because I run across muddy fields, I love the style.

Muy cómodas y estables para terrenos irregulares. Tienen buena amortiguación y el diseño es muy atractivo. Perfectas para entrenamientos largos o caminatas intensas. Repetiría sin dudarlo.
