don’t buy it if you use it in food
Don’t use this for gluten free baking, it smells weird. Smells so weird you can taste it. Cellulose is usually supposed to be odorless. Ok enough about smells, it also just doesn’t work as well as what Modernist pantry offers. Which is what I use. I don’t know maybe it’s just me 🙁

Will not thicken well
It does not thicken like I thought it would. Had to go back to my chemical company.

This doesn’t perform as a true thickening agent as was my expectation.Researching the use of ingredients such as this to enhance my vegan cooking experience, I cannot recommend this one.For the price there are other thickening agents that will do the same job for less $.Back to my research..
