Customers say

Customers praise the motorcycle intercom system’s sound quality, with one noting the upgraded JBL speakers provide plenty of punch, and appreciate its quality as the best helmet communication device made. The system is simple to install and connects well to phones, with one customer highlighting its mesh network for talking to friends. They like its functionality, battery life, and auto on/off feature, with one mentioning the auto sleep mode to save battery. While some customers find it worth the price, others consider it overpriced.

The best helmet communication device made!
In my opinionthe PackTalk Pro is far superior to any other helmet communication device. I often have to take telephone calls while riding in groups. I’m typically surrounded by loud Harleys (including my own) and people think I’m sitting in my office instead of riding at 80mph down the highway. When you buy yours make sure you don’t yell into the mic, there’s no need as it is really sensitive and the built in processor seperates your voice from the background noise. I find I can communicate with up to 14 riders just like sitting around a campfire. You can hear everyone at the same time unlike with a CB or many other communication devices. The packtalk pro’s battery life lasts for hours, the quality of the music I stream from my phone sounds amazing, it really weighes next to nothing and you can use it in the rain! Voice commands are simple and straight forward. I update my Cardo at least once a year for free on their website. After trying different brands, I’m sold on these! They’re not cheap, but worth every cent!

WORKS! Does everything it says and more. Fantastic product!
Pro is the way to go. Much better clarity and bass on the sound part for music. IF you listen to music while riding. The PackTalk with the Mesh system and ability to control who is in it and lock it down. PERFECT! Going to a bike night with 300 other motorcyclists and keeping comms with your group of 7 was awesome! Range is great. Interface with the phone works good. Very happy with product. It does everything it says it does. Controls are pretty simple to use. Voice commands works too!Mounting to the chin bar on the helmet is ideal for me. Turn my head a bit and see myself in the mirror if I can’t find the button or removing the unit for charging.Battery lasts a long time, The AUTO on/off is the 2nd favorite feature since I ride every day. Love this talk unit.

Love the safety feature, ease of use and the same great Cardo build quality I have come to expect
I have been using Cardo products for a while now, and have never had any issues. I bought a new AGV helmet and my PackTalk Slim did not fit, so an upgrade was in order. The Slim still works flawlessly after 6 years of abuse but the new emergency features and the ability to snap it on and off is a game changer for me. Well worth the price knowing if something happens on the road and I am unable to call, it will automatically do it for me. I ride alone most of the time, so I am not sure how the group talk functionality works, but for listening to music from my iPhone, the JBL speakers are more than loud enough while wearing a pair of 17db ear plugs, the noise cancelling on the microphone is unbelievable on my Harley with Straight Shots, or my ZXR with a Yoshi, if I do answer a call, they cannot tell that I am out on a ride. Very happy with my purchase as always from Cardo Systems.

    Quick connecting
The Cardo pro is an outstanding headset. Easy installation. It has very good clear audio and the voice commands work wonderful. I love the crash notification on the unit as it gives peace of mind. Quick charging and I feel for what it offers it is a good price. I cannot say enough praise for this product.

    PackTalk Pro or Sena 50R/S?
I had the Sena R for a few months this year in 2024. Overall I was not impressed by anything. The app is very not optimized. Remember when apps were first being developed and you found that it didn’t have basic functionality? That’s what the Sena app was. The Sena Speaker quality was basically “budget” ear bud quality. Ever have to use airplane headphones or buy cheap headphones at a corner store to get you by? That’s was the Sena speakers are. Flat and dull everything, absolutely 0 bass, leaving you feeling that at least some music is better than nothing. But the most terrible part is the voice & audio mixing. No issues hearing people, but if you had music/radio playing and someone would speak/you would speak, it would abruptly dim the music so it would majorly distract you. If you turned off that feature, voices would blast through the speakers and deafen you. The little mixer they include in the app didn’t do enough, so music would be SUPER quiet and voices would be too loud, always.I say all that to tell you that my experience with the PackTalk Pro has been the complete opposite. I’ve had mine for close to 2 months. Outside fitting it to one helmet that has a small fuss (not Cardo’s fault there!), it has been great. App is modern and WORKS. Music sounds great, not fantastic as it’s missing lows, but overall I’m happy with it. They honestly sound like wired Apple Headphones, passable at everything, good at voice. I like that the unit can be removed and attached to other helmets quick. Battery life is fantastic, especially with the auto on/off feature. And the Crash Detection feature can be toggled. It’s great to have another safety net when riding. Outside of the steeper price, I have 0 complaints. It’s a great product. A flagship model that kicks the crap out of the competition.

Works great but can’t agree with the price
Great device. I mainly upgraded from the packtalk slim for the auto on/off function. It truly works great! You no longer have to think about whether or not you forgot to turn it off and because of that, it just feels like the battery life is that much longer. You still have the option of a full shut off if you aren’t going to use the helmet which is even better. The only reason I’m giving 4/5 stars is because the price is unreasonable in my opinion. It’s a great device but they’re asking too much for what it is.

Great Headset the sound is amazing
Great Headset I have multiple helmets with different headsets and these are by far the best a must have. I know that it’s pretty expensive but it’s well worth it in the long run.

Could not recommend this more, i went on an interstate ride and the battery held up from full charge for more than 11 hours. Could make calls, sound crisp no noise, had connected to phone bluetooth for the whole time playing music, i had to charge my phone before i had to charge this!
