Very convenient
This is very handy if you are caring for someone who needs assistance at any time of day or night. Of course it’s not as good as having a visiting Angel sit with your loved one all night but it did come in handy when my mom needed something, she knew to press the big red button and the chime would go off very loud to alert me and my brother. My mom didn’t use it that much bc we always had someone caring for her day and night but when she did use it, it worked very well. No complaints!

Worked Well for Elderly Surgical Recovery
While simultaneously easy to use and set up, this wireless alert button had good range. Family members live on the same property with decent acreage in separate houses, and this worked between houses just fine after our family member’s surgery. The distance it needed to cover wasn’t ridiculously huge, but it was enough that it was uncertain whether this would be strong enough to pull off the job from one home to the other down at the bottom of a small hill. Happily, it worked out well and we had no problems. Its big red button on the pager is something that even the shakiest of hands can manage, it’s a simple design without a bunch of superfluous stuff to get in the way. You can add to the set, which I do recommend just so that there is no question you can hear the bell when needed throughout the home. A base for the caregiver’s room as well as the main rooms of the house would probably be ideal for larger homes, taking household noise into consideration–TV, stereo, computer, tablets, etc. Keep in mind this only alerts those who have the base in their proximity, it doesn’t replace calling 9-1-1 in case of an emergency. I would also recommend buying another set to have more buttons around, if the person being cared for forgets to leave it on them and goes into the bathroom and has a fall, they can possibly reach an extra perhaps attached to the wall near the shower or toilet. Another feature is the variety of chimes/bells that can be selected from, in case the door-bell type chime isn’t something you want to hear as an alert. This is a very handy product to have in the home in case of family members being too sick to leave their bed with say, a virus or something along those lines as well. You never know when illness is going to hit, and an item like the caregiver pager can put all parties in question at more ease.

good for same-house solution
I got this for my aunt and uncle. He has Parkinson’s and she is working from home to be there to care for him. This is a great way for her to know when he needs help, and easier than using a cell phone for similar function, for them anyway. I have been looking for a separate-house solution because my dad lives more than 1000ft away from me, but this one isn’t it. This is great for my aunt and uncle though. Easy to set up, easy to use.

Provide peace of mind to yourself and your loved ones.
My wife and I got this for our elderly mother who is preparing for abdominal surgery in the new year. We don’t want her over-exerting herself, and delaying her recuperation. After looking around, we found this pager system that seems to fit the bill nicely.It’s a variation of a wireless doorbell, and it’s settings reflect this. At first I was put off by this, but upon reflection, I guess it makes a sort of sense. A doorbell is meant to be distinctive to pull your attention away from anything you were doing, in order to attend to it. So, which a “ding-dong!”, might not seem the most medically professional page, it does do what it’s supposed to do.If the default chime is not to your liking, they have several other pre-programed chimes.I think this would be helpful to any caregiver, and am glad we picked it up.
