Customers find this ice pack to be the coldest they’ve used, appreciating its large size that covers the back and provides good pain relief, particularly for back spasms and shoulder/neck inflammation. The product is durable, with strong material that lasts all night, and is flexible enough to mold to arm and shoulder areas. They like its foldability, noting it folds neatly for freezer space and can be unfolded to fit various body areas, while being soft enough for skin contact.

Fast-freezing, Long-lasting, Durable, Flexible. Amazing.
I have a neuralgia condition in my pelvic floor that has me in burning pain 24/7. Ice is the best and usually only remedy that really stops the pain. Therefore, my world revolves around ice packs. Having enough of them, making sure at least one is always frozen, constantly dealing with leaks from wear and tear as I must sit on them continuously….I finally realized this calls for more than just the hot/cold packs I was buying at my local drugstore. After trying several types and brands, I finally tried Coldest last week. I just bought my second pack today. I’m convinced. These packs may need a full 2 hours to freeze starting from room temperature. But they definitely freeze fast and their large size seems to help them stay colder longer. A lot colder, a lot longer. Perhaps 50% longer than the standard packs I’ve been using. That extra time means less time spent getting up, changing packs, re-freezing etc. Since the packs are usually still pretty cold when I put them back in the freezer, they don’t need as much time to get ice cold again. An hour perhaps. This all adds up to longer lasting cold per pack in less time. With a couple more Coldest packs, I expect it will save me as much as an hour or more a day making trips to the freezer.I’m planning to purchase 3 Coldest packs total to replace the 5 standard packs in my freezer now. And I expect even with 2 less packs I will have both more instant and consistent access to the 24/7 cold therapy I need.Another great thing about these packs is that even when ice cold straight from the freezer, they are still flexible and mold just way I need them to.With standard packs, I usually have to wait 15-20 minutes for the packs to soften enough to mold and finallly apply. Then I’m lucky to get 20 minutes of numbing relief before they become room temperature again. With Coldest, I can use them straight from the freezer, as needed – no waiting! And a single pack stays cold enough to maintain numbness for well past 30 minutes. (I actually will time them at some point in the future to compare and update here with the results)I never thought I’d be writing so enthusiastically about an ice pack. But here we are. And Coldest deserves to be raved about. You can tell they put a lot of love into this quality product. If you really need the best ice pack ever, congratulations you just found it.

Stays cold
I have several types of ice packs and this one is colder and stays cold longer than the others. Definitely recommend.

The best ice packs on the market… PERIOD.
“Coldest” Ice Packs are without a single doubt the best on the market, hands down. I use them for my back, the compression sleeve for my knee, and another one for my shoulder, and there is no other product like them. On these large packs, I just LOVE how they design them on a unique “tri-fold” design, which allows them to fill in your freezer perfectly without taking up too much space. I always buy two of each type, so when I’m using one there is always a cold one waiting in my freezer when needed.

SO cold, but lacking a bit of convenience
I did a lot of searching for a good ice pack. I read so many descriptions and reviews that, clearly, I didn’t remember all the specs of this item. It doesn’t come with any type of sleeve or strap or bag or holder or anything other than the gel pack itself. Many other items have some sort of sleeve or barrier, often with straps, which are almost always needed when applying an ice pack to your body.Since this purchase I’ve looked around to buy a separate sleeve/sling/strap device to use with this item, and frustratingly enough, I’m only finding ones that are paired up with an ice pack of it’s own. I’ve contacted the company, but they just replied that they don’t have one. (They have other products that have sleeves/straps, fyi.)While this product is a workable size and has stayed very cold for me, it’s not super versatile to use. I’ve been wrapping it in a towel and tried using a back brace or wrap to try to help hold it in place. It’s not worth trying to return, but for the $24 I spent, I’m a bit surprised there’s not even a sleeve. Oh, you have to use something with this ice pack. Maybe a couple layers of your clothes could work, but a towel of some sort is important. It gets too cold to go directly on skin.I like this product but just the lack of cover/bag makes me sad I chose it. Maybe look at another of their products that come with the useful, needed, bag/straps/something.
