Great product! Just what I needed.
This item is the perfect size to target every area of swelling, itching, and pain after my hip replacement. I am just under 5’7” and around 180 lbs, and it fits perfectly. It is always kind of pliable, not too hard. I wear it for 15-20 minutes, then fold it upon itself for an hour, and I am able to wear it again for another 15-20 minutes without re-freezing it. It doesn’t get wet with thawing. I then put it back in the freezer for another hour. It always seems cold enough and is always as comfortable as possible. The straps fit perfectly with plenty of extra room on the waist and the thigh. These Velcro straps are strong enough to adjust how low or high I want it. I chose it based on how low it looked like it would fit my leg since I have swelling in various spots. I’m very satisfied with this product. One less hassle in what can be a somewhat traumatic and scary surgery experience.

Stays cold for hours!
Works hot or cold. Stays cold for hours! Very flexible. Straps hold it place, but you can just lay it on your leg or body part without the straps. I got the X-tra large and it covers from the top of my hip to below my knee. Easy to fold and put in freezer and then unfolds easily. Probably the best ice pack I’ve ever used.

Large size works great for woman size 16
Large size has good coverage for woman’s size 16 hip covering all of side and most of front of hip. Velcro straps a little long but still workable. Wish it had fuzzy cover on both sides, not just the side facing away from body. Used a hand towel between ice pack and skin which made it comfortable for up to 30 minute icing sessions after hip replacement. Bought 2 in case I needed to ice frequently but one would have been sufficient to ice 4 to 6 times a day. Best to have help putting it on while lying down because mobility immediately following hip replacement is very limited. By the time you can put it on without help (about 3 to 4 weeks after surgery) your need for icing is greatly diminished and probably only needed following physical therapy. Very flexible. Doesn’t leak. Stays very cold for 30 minutes. Easy storage in freezer because it folds to very compact size. Highly recommended for post hip replacement icing therapy.

This Should Be Your Ice Wrap for Hip Inflammation
Just had my hip replaced and my PT recommended this product. It was a good investment especially for the price. Stays cold for a solid 20-30 minutes. Velcro straps are strong and durable. Only negative is that the wrap is a bit stiff in spots but that’s probably due to the material they need to make the velcro adhere basically anywhere on the outside of the wrap. Overall, it’s a well made and very useful product for hip inflammation.

I purchased the ice pack for a total hip replacement recovery tool. I’m two weeks into recovery and I use the pack 3-4 times a day. It works great, attaches to upper leg and down thigh. Covers part of butt which is pretty soar. Works great. Don’t know about longevity yet, it is sturdy and well made all things considered. Allows you to be hands free to take care of other things. A good medical device.

Okay but ended up using chiropractic ice packs that are easy to use a form
When frozen, it does not conform to your hip easily.
