Customers say
Customers find these compression socks well-made, comfortable, and effective at preventing leg swelling, with good compression that doesn’t squeeze the toes. They appreciate the value for money, and one customer mentions they make 12-hour nursing shifts more tolerable. The fit and ease of putting them on receive mixed feedback – while some find them a nice fit and easy to get on, others report they run too small and are difficult to put on.

30 40 mmHG Graduated Makes Difference
These sock hose are excellent. They improve blood flow in an injured leg of mine that is prone to swell.I have tried other stretch hose but none so effective as these medical type 30-40 mmHg graduated. The mm is a measurement standard that stands for the millimeters of mercury and indicates the level of pressure. The graduated pressure is in this specification a low of 30 at the top of the sock and the high of 40 at the foot. Of course I had no way to tell if the advertised specification was present, but by the visual result of only one full day of wearing the aid, I am convinced that it was performing well within the parameters. They work fine for me. Are easy to hand launder, and they dry quickly.Price wise, they might seem a little high for one pair of socks, but it is results that you are seeking not quantity or odor reducing copper fibers. Those socks are also compression but for my needs these socks are better. These are real compression hosiery. They do the job. I found them to be comfortable, and yes, they look good on my leg when my pant leg creeps up. Nothing is evident that you are wearing a compression stocking.I am giving them a resounding Five GIANT Stars because they are well made, work as they should..and the results contribute to the overall value and rating.Get them, you wont be disappointed. Be sure to pay attention to the sizing chart when ordering.

Best I found on Amazon, though too long. Should have a short version. Also could be more durable.
I tired these in medium and small and I also tried a Jobst sock in medium. I am familiar with compression. I use compression tights all day when I ski and recovery tights after. These socks give the appropriate amount of compression. If you feel they are too tight, it is not the sock. It is you. Go for less compression or size up if you know you are heavy. These compression Z socks seem to be made with a very similar material as the Jobst, but are much thicker and tighter. They also have areas of reinforcement to add more pressure in zones unlike the Jobst. Even though the Compression Zs were tighter than the Jobst, which ended up falling off my calf at the end of the day, I ended up going with a small because I felt they were to long in a medium. They went up about halfway up the kneecap, which cut off circulation in the back of them as there is a stronger band there. They should stop about an inch below the knee. Even the small was too long, though I could mange the stretch so the end up just below the knee. I could also stretch the foot out so the heel is halfway up my Achilles, but again, not stretching so much put things in the appropriate place. I still can handle the compression Z in small, though I will say, that is tight, probably 50-60 mmHG. In fact, to combat the length issue, I am now folding the sock back down over itself (as if you were taking it off) at where the calf starts. This will now give me a bit more compression at the ankle because the sock is then doubled in that area. Still, I can sleep all night with them with no deleterious effects. FYI: I wear a size 8, have a very wide foot and my calf in the middle range (14″). I am using this to help prevent and reduce swelling after a pretty bad ankle fracture, so it’s not like I am not using them in a sensitive area.As far as durability, the first pair developed a small tear after 3-4 uses around the ankle area. It did not affect the performance of the sock but more tears would follow. I expect to get 40-50 uses before it would fail. All the other socks wear fine, so it could have been a defect. From what I have gathered, having compression to the joint helps stimulate the healing process. I was told by my orthopedic foot and ankle specialist to try compression, though he did not give me a specific pressure or brand. After just one day of use with the Compression Z socks, I saw a world of difference in my foot morphology, and that was with the medium sock. The small even works better! I highly recommended the compression Zs. I just wish they made a petite or short version for use short people (I am 5′-8″, so really not THAT short!). So one star off. I hope this review helps you make a choice.

Great for aching legs!!
I work on my feet at a medical building for 8 hours and a lot of walking down long halls and hard floors. These socks are a godsend! My legs were aching so bad that I could not walk some nights. I normally used a 15 to 20 grade or 20 to 30 and thought maybe I needed to step it up and I’m so glad I did. These are awesome! I’m going to order more in the future. I have a new favorite. My legs were feeling so much better and not hurting after my first use of this brand. And they were easy to put on for being so strong. So comfortable too. I would say an excellent product I highly recommend.

The Good! The Bad!
I’ve probably tried every pair of compression socks available for compartment syndrome in my calves. Prefer them to the uber-thin pantyhose/trouser socks-like compression socks. They are more supportive + at least initially give me impression they will not stretch out as quickly. These socks also have a more comfortable cottony texture. Foot especially is more comfortable as medium-thickness sock base provides boney areas on foot bit more cushion from shoes than uber-thin socks. Several people had mentioned socks run small? I disagree, if we’re discussing the foot area size. I wear a women’s size 9 + the size medium ordered based on size chart was pretty perfect + could easily be stretched over slightly larger feet too.2 things I don’t love about these socks:1. Sock shaft area covering calf + shin is too long. Obviously, as with all compressive garmets, sock must be carefully stretched as we put it on over calf but it stretches way too much vertically. Instead of appropriately ending just below my knee it pretty much covers my knee.2. The very top band of sock is quite tight, more so than rest of sock. I hope band itself loosens up, without losing desired compression in calf. Because calf shaft is so long, this ultra-tight top band is hitting behind my knee. Pressure on MCL + LCL very uncomfortable. I have to carefully adjust sock down below knee to be able to wear garmet, but ultra-tight band is still pretty uncomfortable, but slightly more bearable for a while. Pressure from top band leaves a lovely line on leg several hours after wear. Think manufacturer possibly making SML size differences only in the foot part, forgetting that SML adults likely have differing lower leg length?

After wearing compression stockings for a long time, I am disappointed with this product. The XL size compared with other well known brands was smaller and no actual heel is part of these stockings. Other than the fact they actually feel good I wouldn’t recommend them to long term users.

I have used these for a while and i can say they are good, the only thing is when i take them off my legs itch like mad where the top of the socks have been. Other than that, brilliant.
