Understand Congestive Heart Failure in less than an hour.
Do you find yourself unable to find accurate well-sorted information about congestive heart failure in one place? Are you unsure how well your doctor knows about your heart disease?
I certainly was. This is the reason why I did a months-long research concerning this topic after my father was diagnosed with a right side heart failure.

After the health situation of my father got better I decided to publish the information to anyone who might need it.

After you read the book you will know everything you need about:
– Why 2% of the total population and 6-10% in those over the age of 65 are diagnosed with congestive heart failure.
– The fact that there are different types of heart failure and what are the differences.
– 10 of the most common causes for heart failure.
– Understanding the signs and symptoms and how to act accordingly.
– How your doctor can verify your suspicions if you have heart failure.
– Can congestive heart failure be treated and if so how?
– How to prevent congestive heart failure from worsening.
– Living with heart failure – A long-term approach
– …

I’m not a traditional author. And I’m not a doctor.
But I created a comprehensive book on congestive heart failure and I’m confident that you’re going to find the information you need. This ebook is as far as I can see the best way to start informing you about this severe heart disease and the possible treatments.

Sincerely
Robert S. Harris

Valuable info to begin self-educating on CHF
A scary topic with little to no hope as the condition progresses. Hospitalization with heavy doses of lasix via catheterization reduces the swelling, but being flat on your back for 3-5 days requires after care and physical therapy (usually in a facility) to relearn to walk and carry the new weight. The older the person is, the more difficult this type of healthcare becomes. Not only the person’s stamina (both physical and mental) but also the healthcare providers who don’t seem to care anymore and are just getting thru their day. My mother was diagnosed with CHF in the 1990s with edema in her feet and legs and has been thru these procedures three times, the last was pre-shutdown (thank God) and they refused PT wanting to keep her in the facility in bed or in a chair even tho she had been on her feet with a walker not seven days before the treatment. I brought her home instead for her own comfort and my peace of mind. There was nothing available to learn about CHF until recently so my advice is to read Mr Harris’s info, begin to educate yourself, learn ways to live with this condition while you’re young enough (mentally and physically) to do so, and thru diet and exercise find ways to avoid inflammation and swelling in your body as long as possible.

Doctors – Give This Book to Patients!
My 85 mother was diagnosed with congestive heart failure 3 weeks ago. I live 500 miles away, and stayed at the hospital as much as I could each day in hopes of talking to the assigned cardiologist. I only saw him once, and he swooped in and acted like we weren’t worth more than 10 seconds of his time saying – “She’s got congestive heart failure and she’s not a candidate for surgery.” I tried to ask him a question and he acted like I had committed a crime, during which he scurried from the room. If this booklet had been available as a handout to the newly diagnosed CHF patient and family, it would have been VERY helpful as a starting point. This book is informative, brief, and easy to read and understand. I commend Mr. Harris for writing this wonderful resource! Now, I would like for him to write about the overall trajectory and experience of his father’s life and progression with congestive heart failure. The path ahead for my mother is the great unknown, and that is the hardest part.

The Basics of Congestive Heart Failure
This book is a great source of information – simple and compact – as it says in the title. Whether it is for you or a loved one – for just getting the basics and understanding the terms, this 27 page book will take care of that.

Does well in a short book.
A book that tries to cover this far-reaching condition is impossible to write. This one does well to cover the basics, and does so in a concise, understandable way. Books about CHF are relatively few compared to the number of people it affects. I hope to find one addressing the different stages, but that’s just me. It would be impossible to address each problem. To appeal to and educate a broad range of people with this condition be impossible. I’m glad I read it. The author did a good job!

    Easy and informative read. Finally!
This is a book that is made for the layperson. It is extremely informative and the teaching is simple and very easy to follow for such a complex thing as the heart. I am excited to read through after having received this diagnosis recently. Thank you to the author for this great tool.
