Very comforting around the eye area after surgery
This is the best thing I ever purchased! I had basal cell removed next to my eyelid. Afterwards the bruising and swelling. Well, I used this mask, and it prevented 90 % of the bruising 1 week later. Doctor was amazed! I placed this mask in very cold refrigerator for an hour. DON’T PUT IT IN THE FREEZER! I put it on my face every 30 minutes and believe me, it is cooling and comforting and relieves any swelling and bruising. Great, great product for anyone who has had a surgery near the eye, or just for any kind of swelling around your eye. You will love this product!

Perfect for icing your nose or sinuses
My dog head butted me in the face the other day. Nearly breaking my nose. This ice pack came in handy to ice my face. It stayed cold for quite a while and was comfortable on my face. It is still flexible even straight out of the freezer making it easy to bend to your face shape. The adjustable strap makes it easy to get on and off.

Not for under eye puffiness
I bought this ice pack mainly to help with under-eye puffiness. It’s a pretty big size, which helps cover a good portion of the face, and the Velcro strap on the back holds really well, so it stays in place. However, it doesn’t wrap around the eye area as well as I hoped—it kind of sits on top rather than contouring to the shape. It also would have been nicer if the material was a bit softer for more comfort during use. Overall, it is not a good fit for the job. There’s definitely room for improvement in design and comfort.

This cooling eye mask is awesome! You can put it in the freezer or refrigerator. I prefer the refrigerator because the freezer can be a little TOO cold and not comfortable for normal relaxation like the refrigerator. You will not be disappointed! The description is as described.

I love cold therapy. I have shoulder packs, arm packs and now this face mask. I use this at least twice a day. I use it in the fridge as it gets cold enough for 10-15 minutes of use which is all you really need to relieve swelling. I see lots of reviews when it comes to these about them not being cold long enough but it does the job fine. The velcro straps work. I walk around doing my morning and night routine with this and then throw it back in the fridge. I tried it once with the freezer, it says to keep it in for 20 minutes but the fridge does the same and you don’t have to worry about forgetting it. Do not use it frozen. Not sure how someone could tear it unless you are really handling it rough. I got this for puffy face, baggy eyes and a stiff neck. Overall it has been helping plenty with general relief, and i’m gonna go pop it back on now before bed.

I was facing eyelid surgery and needing to ice the area afterwards. I had purchased 2 of the rectangular brick type as well as the Myhalos. The bricks were cold and long-lasting but since they were frozen ridgid they didn’t conform to facial contours and, because they had to be used within an insulating material, the chill was less than desired. I used the Myhalos out of the fridge successfully and was pleased with the way they conformed to the face and allowed me to see at the same time. I had some seepage along the suture lines, but that was easily removed by gentle attention with a damp cloth. I got approx 10-15 minutes in this way, so I became a bit bolder seeking greater and longer chill. I kept one in the freezer for 30 minutes. The mask did not become a board quite, and the chill when applied, was tolerable, effective and lasted sufficiently. This performed well for its price and I think anyone facing this type of surgery could benefit from its handy use. It has not leaked despite numerous applications, but I would advise gentle handling.
