This book is incredibly informative and helpful for everyday life.
Before I purchased this cookbook I did a fair amount of reading and research to find a good cookbook for someone with Diabetes. My friend was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I have made many recipes from this cookbook. 2 times I made the almond chicken for company. Both times I was asked for the recipe. I make the granola bars weekly. The recipes work for everyone, not just diabetics. Every recipe I’ve tried has been a hit and absolutely delicious. I was very happy with this book and the info I learned. (Not a fan of wheat noodles, but that is a me issue!) definitely recommend to someone new to diabetics or wanting to eat a healthier way.

Good, but inconsistent serving size per recipe
Recipes are good, but serving size of recipes varies from 2 – 16, so make sure you double check before you start a recipe.

Thankfully, Diabetic Cookbook for the Newly Diagnosed made the transition so much easier! This book is exactly what I needed—it’s clear, easy to follow, and packed with 500 simple yet delicious recipes that make managing diabetes feel much less stressful. One of the biggest challenges for me was figuring out what to eat without feeling deprived. This cookbook solved that problem! The meals are flavorful, satisfying, and designed to keep blood sugar levels stable. There are some lovely dishes and beautifully photographed ,but this book i is aimed at the American market. The size of the portions are aimed at large family or dinner with friends. So be aware of this ,and be aware you will have to down size the portions size. Also there are some ingredients I did not know so I had to search the Amazon for the English equivalent. Which was fun, learnt a lot about food, and the different names for a ingredients.

Delusa… La coperta tutta colorate e invece dentro la carta di scarsa qualità evlr foto in bianco e nero. L’avrei restituiti ma il postino lo ha lasciato fuori sotto la pioggia quindi è pure un po’ danneggiato.
