Compact, elegantly simple, works well
This is a small rechargeable timer with a bright illuminated display. One button controls all functions – clear, set time, count down, etc. by pressing or rotating the button. I use this timer to complete a daily functional strength and core routine which requires timing repetitive exercises of various lengths and quickly switching between durations. There is a battery charge indicator on the screen. I do my exercises before sunrise in a darkened room so the illuminated screen is very helpful. Can easily hold in your palm or rest on your abdomen while crunching. Looks durable. Time will tell. The only upgrade I would like to see is a haptic (vibrating) alarm option. That would make it near perfect. Buying another for travel. A huge improvement over the old school kitchen timers I was using for exercise.

INKBIRD UP Timer-Down Timer
I have found this unit to be handy for many uses, It fits in pocket. has a very bright display and turns off if knob bumped when not in use. (Pocket for me) When I play slots, I usually play low for 5 Minutes. If I don’t have a playing slot, I move on to another one, the countdown works to keep me on track. When it is done it beeps and flashes. It has many portable uses. Timing my jogging time, cooking shrimp, cooking something while on my computer and the stove timer is not heard, but again it beeps and flashes. In the photos I didn’t remove the protective cover and it is still real bright. The specification photo gives a good amount of info.I tried to show the 5 Min. start and end of time function in a photo and end in a video. (only get 1 video)I recommend this product; I have and use many quality Inkbird products.

Disappointed in the display dimming itself.
This seemed really nice at first click but during first use I found that the display dims itself to a much lower brightness it’s still visible but then completely goes black I thought maybe it just needed a full charge not knowing how long ago it was assembled but that didn’t seem to change anything though it does seem to stay nice and bright while plugged in and charging besides the fact that it says not to use while charging.

This timer does all you want from a timer and all with a single control.It’s plenty bright to see the time and plenty loud to hear in a busy kitchen.What more could you want from a timer? (Well, a magnetic back &/or suction cup, to mount on a counter or appliance for one handed use.)

Nice display.
I like the looks of this timer and pretty easy to set up.I usually only use the countdown timer function.Because of the weight I noticed it slipping down the fridge and I think it needs a stronger magnet.For me the beeper could be a little louder.I really like that its rechargeable.

Easy to use and also a stopwatch
This didn’t come with instructions so if you’re wondering…You push the button to wake it up. Then:-Push two more times to use as a stopwatch.-OR spin the button to select minutes, then push it to lock the minutes in, and spin again to select seconds. Push again to lock seconds in and it will start counting down.
