Can never go wrong with Shaykh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله)
This is such a beautiful book, inside and out (love the unique artistic cover). Simple, yet concise and extremely easy to read.The book is short with only 80 pages, yet its message and commentary powerful and intrinsic for deep introspection and rectification of one’s heart.Sh. Mohammad Elshinawy (an amazing scholar and lecturer btw, search him up) did an excellent job in translating and publishing this essential book for the benefit of the Ummah (how much are we in need of purifying our hearts). Everyone should have this in their household.Especially for its price being only at $5! I remember reading from Sh. Elshinawy that his intent for translating and publishing this book was not for any financial profit whatsoever, but solely for the sake of Allah and His reward (explaining the reason for it being so cheap). May Allah accept from him.In conclusion, I can’t recommend this book enough. So Bismillah, don’t hesitate in buying and reading it now. I am already planning on purchasing several more to gift insha’Allah!

What I received was a complete translation and not the quick read by the author listed in the ad that it claims to be.AlhamduLilah I had not read the reviews. It seems as though in 2017 you got the original book which may have been a quick read. Then it appears some place down the line a translation was issued and was of unable to be comprehended or too advanced for one reviewer and then a low quality translation for other reviewers perhaps because Arabic is like Spanish and is understood and spoken in reverse of English. IDK, WHAT I DO KNOW is that if I read the reviews before purchasing the book I would have passed. I have only skimmed a couple of pages and read a random paragraph what yields is a book not described by the negative reviews. Maybe just maybe the book has been updated again. I am unable to find the information in the book but am VERY PLEASED with what I have seen thus far albeit’s still early

Good Short Read But…
This book is a short and interesting read and give a new perspective to some of the Qur’anic verses but it’s layout is not very well thought-out and the content feels disjointed.It gets really frustrating to read some of the topics since the notes can get long and span across multiple pages and you have to flip back n forth and lose sight of the main content.An interesting read nevertheless.
