Excellent Quality, uncluttered, REAL-LIFE Photos!
I ordered these flash cards to use with my 5 year-old son who has autism and low-vision. Per his vision teacher, it’s very important that books and teaching materials use real-life photos with uncluttered backgrounds. The problem with most flashcards and books today is they are mostly cartoons and have a TON of visual clutter. Visual clutter refers to background objects and patterns that distract from the main image of focus. I love that these use REAL photographs of real children, with plain colored backgrounds and only show what’s needed to convey the verb.Young children are naturally drawn to human faces. Cartoon faces just aren’t the same, especially when teaching a child with special needs. The card quality is excellent, the size is perfect, and these are great for language learning. They are intuitive and easy to use. The verb is written on the back of each card.I recommend picking simpler verbs and introducing a few at a time. As your child masters each smaller set of cards, introduce new ones.Five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A Fun and Effective Way to Supercharge Kids’ Vocabulary
The Dotimo 52 Action Verbs Flash Cards are an exceptional resource for young learners, ESL students, and children in speech therapy programs. Each card is thoughtfully designed with clear, engaging images that make learning verbs intuitive and memorable. The 4″x5.8″ size is perfect for little hands, allowing children to manipulate the cards easily during activities or lessons. What sets these cards apart is their versatility—they’re ideal for vocabulary building, enhancing nonverbal communication skills, and supporting structured speech therapy exercises. Whether used in the classroom, at home, or in therapeutic settings, these flash cards encourage interactive learning and active participation.Overall, Dotimo has created a tool that combines educational value with visual appeal, making the sometimes-challenging process of language acquisition fun, effective, and accessible. Highly recommended for parents, teachers, and therapists alike!

Super engaging!
These flash cards are an absolute favorite in our home right now. From the moment we opened the box, my toddler has been obsessed with them. She looks at them daily, mimics the children’s expressions and actions, makes the corresponding sounds, and even picks up new words. It’s truly wonderful to watch her interact with them so enthusiastically. The photo quality is excellent, and the images are very clear and engaging. I especially appreciate that they feature real children instead of illustrations, which helps little ones identify and connect with what they’re seeing. That said, one thing to keep in mind is that while the cards aren’t flimsy, they’re not ultra-rigid either. They’re made of decent cardstock but not a thick or laminated material. So depending on your child’s age and temperament, they may be prone to bending. My daughter hasn’t torn any yet, but she does occasionally fold them slightly in her excitement. We have them in some photo albums to protect them a bit and that works well. There’s one minor issue I noticed: one card is labeled “Waking,” but it seems like it should say “Walking,” since the child is clearly standing and walking, not waking up. It’s a small typo, but worth correcting for future editions.Overall, I highly recommend these flashcards for vocabulary building, social-emotional development, and imitation play. Just consider supervising younger or more hands-on toddlers to help keep the cards in good shape.

Great Verb flashcards
These are great learning verb flashcards. There are 52 flashcards in the package. One side is the verb word and the other side is the action demonstrated by acute child. These will work great for my 11-year-old nonverbal autistic son. Both myself and his behavioral therapist agreed that this would be a good stepping stone for his communication and understanding. The cards are a good size, very colorful and vibrant. I also like that they have rounded edges. These cards come with a five stage gameplay guide.Update: while working through the cards this morning to see what I’m going to use for my son. I realized that there is a card of instructions for matching verbs. This will be useful for my son’s recognition and understanding.

High Quality Verbs Resource
These verb cards are exactly what I needed to work on my four year old’s language skills. These are similar to the resources used in speech therapy and educational settings. These cards are nice and sturdy with a picture on one side and the verb on the other. I especially love that all of the pictures show real kids and not cartoon images. There are a wide variety of relevant verbs, such as brushing teeth or crying, etc., which is great if your child is trying to practice language skills. The set also comes with an informative card describing the five different levels of development for using the cards.

Perfect Flashcards for ESL
My wife uses these cards for her ESL class. They are a very nice size, and the cards are quite sturdy. The cards are made of a nice, thick paper. There is a good variety of words, and it is perfect for her students.
