Solid swing- well loved
This has been a hit with all the kids. We have wanted a swing to use primarily as a tool for sensory regulation for our 7 year son, and couldn’t find the space to hang one from the ceiling or a hammock stand inside. Yes, he uses this swing every day (Even though he doesn’t necessarily fall asleep any quicker, have less melt downs etc. but he sure loves it and uses it as a tool to calm down) and sisters and friends all want equal time as well. I thought originally we’d want a lycra material, but it was easier after researching to choose this option with the included bar and quality. The rope is softer than I expected, and holding up well after a few months of heavy use. The kids do not seem deterred by, and actually seem to like the material. Initially, we had the swing facing the other way, so they could use their feet to push off of the wall— while this aspect was really fun for them, so many heads were smacked on the door frame this way. Many tears and frustrations! Keep this in mind, as you determine whether the door frame area has enough space and the option for them to safety swing. The bar lengthens, and could fit a hallway if needed. We had to add wood pieces to our door frame to widen the area for the screws to be secure (see photos) so measure carefully to know if your frame or space will fit— or rig it like we did, it works fine. It’s easy to remove the swing (leaving the bar on) when needed- we’ve done this a few times when the swing became a weapon and can put it back on when ready. One of the photos shows damage to our door frame— this is caused by the swing being used close to door frame. We had to coach users to pull the swing toward the middle of the bar, and not try to wrap it around and swing sideways as the friction damages the frame. We’ve been using this for about 5 months at this point, and have found the way that works for us to minimize injuries and damage to the surrounding area. It is so loved by our kids, we would recommend.

Can I please return?
Bought this for my grandson hoping he’d fit because he really needs the therapy but he’s too big, too heavy and a waste of my money. Can you make a return exception?

Great addition to our family room
This swing was an instant hit with my 5 year old. He is neurotypical but still finds it very calming when he is upset, and very engaging when he is bored. My 2.5 year old also loves swinging with me to calm down or reconnect. We put it in a central place next to the kitchen and It has significantly reduced the chaos in the room during peak times. Plus it is surprisingly attractive — we removed the large white tags and it blends in with our color scheme. Beware the age limits: i tried swinging with our 5-month old this week when he needed soothing and he threw up from motion sickness, so it may be too much for younger kids. Also, kids must be aware that they can accidentally slam into the door frame if they are twisting or have limbs out. It REALLY hurts to bonk on the door frame so i wouldn’t suggest this set up for unsupervised calming if your child is not at least somewhat in control and body aware. For the manufacturer: it would be helpful to have grooves in the bar to guide the straps to the middle rather than allowing them to drift toward the sides.

Just super
easy to put up. sturdy. my daughter is spending endless hours in this swing already. only issue is a squeaking sound but i don’t think it is the swing’s fault – trying to sort out why the squeaking began. but i’d still give it 5 stars even with the squeak

Great Product!
This is exactly as described. I built a frame for it and it’s currently in my daughter’s room where she sits in it everyday.

Outrageously overpriced
Way too much money for it, whole thing probably cost no more then $10-$12 to make Including packagingIt’s not worth it. Shouldn’t be more than $50 MAXit’s basically steel rod (not solid) 2 clamps, screws hinges and meshSuch a RIP-OFF
