It works!
Very first use = position the bar across the halfway of the lid, snug it up and squeeze the handle, hear the “pop” of pressure release, and effortlessly rotate. WOW! This thing works! Best ever lid opener – simple, easy, sturdy, inexpensive. I can now approach those arch-enemy pickle jars with the right tool in hand. Very, very pleased! UPDATE: after using this device for some time now, I am even more enthusiastic about it. Even with the most resistant jars, it works! Even works easily on plastic bottle tops. Brilliant!

It will SLIP when using. Put a damp cloth between it and the jar to lessen slipping

By two because you’ll need one to give away as a gift.
I do love these little jar openers. They work awesomely. Easy to handle and fit every jar I own. I have bought extras for myself and several for friends and family. I’ve never had one damage a lid. The only small issue I have is the rubber cover on the handle will slide occasionally. I don’t find that a problem, I just push it back in place. I highly suggest getting this jar opener. In fact get two.

Works amazingly well!
It opens a screw top of the most subbern jars that were stored for a long time prior to opening. It never slips requires very minimal hand strength. great product

Useless if you have injured your hands. Instead of just struggling to open a jar, now I am struggling with this thing to open a jar. Get an electric device or you will be at risk of reinjury.
