Customers say
Customers find the wheelchair lightweight and easy to transport, with good functionality and ease of use, particularly noting it’s easy to load and maneuver around tight spaces. The chair folds up compactly and is convenient for moving through doors and walkways, though opinions about its size are mixed, with some finding it too small. While some customers describe it as well-built, others report issues with the footrest breaking.

Perfect for traveling, especially via air
This is an amazing wheelchair. It is lightweight, has all the features of the best items. It comes fully assembled and the quality is outstanding. It collapses easily for loading into a car or when gate checking before boarding the plane. I put a strap around it and take off the foot supports just before entering the plane. The larger back wheels really make a difference and enable easy mobility over all kinds of surfaces. It is very comfortable to sit in and easy to push.

Transport Wheelchair that does it all for a good price.
Overall: Very solid Transport lightweight wheelchair suitable for travel or transport.Pros: Competitive Price, lightweight but solidly made- holds up to daily use on trip, easy to use on various surfaces from sidewalls or cobblestones to dirt and gravel. Folds to compact size.Cons: Not comfortable for long durations of sitting without additional foam cushion.Tested for one month trip to France doing sightseeing with a Tour group and getting around small sometimes hilly town with old roads and paved areas. Held up very well and folded for storage into the Tour Bus or Taxis. Larger rear wheel good for rough surfaces but can’t be used on loose gravel or sand. Added foam seat cushion for comfort. Plus was wide arm rests and safety belt. Good brakes. Folded up and put into shipping box and given to airlines as checked bag (does not count to checked bag limit). Used airport wheelchair assistance for getting to and from planes to next gate, customs, or baggage claim. Solid purchase- I did consider other transport chairs and this one is the winner.

Light weight and comfortable.
This transport chair, at 19 pounds, is easy enough for me to lift and place in my trunk and pull out again. My mother likes the chair because it is comfortable for her and has foot rests included. I like that the handles that are attached to the back rest fold down, so the chair is even more compact when I load it into the car. The foot rests are simple to put on and take off, which again, makes loading and unloading a breeze. I have struggled with other wheelchairs and walkers, and this transport chair is my favorite by far. It is easy to push and turns on a dime. I literally rolled the transport chair out of the box and it was ready for my mom to use! No assembly required! The quality of the materials and the easy of folding and unfolding set this transport chair far ahead of the competition. I highly recommend it.

Good with some flaws
As a hospital volunteer I use & push wheelchairs frequently but I don’t have to lift them in & out of cars. I purchased this to take my 90 year old Mom in long term care to appointments and (post COVID) on outings. The good:-I gets the job done and is much lighter than a traditional wheelchair.-The height of the handles is higher than the wheelchair provided by the long term care facility making it easier to push, I don’t have to lean over to push it.-I like the hand brakes but, like brakes on any medical equipment, they should be monitored to make sure they are gripping tightly. Here are some issues people should be aware of:-The feet rests don’t stay folded up when my Mom gets in & out of the transport chair causing a trip hazard.-If the feet rests are folded beside the chair they don’t stay in that position, they swing around.-I generally put it in my car with the feet rests folded beside the chair and the feet rests almost always fall off of the chair.-It is somewhat difficult to get the feet rests to snap into position to be used.-There seems to be a trend here, the feet rests could be better.I also received a chair with a broken (plastic) hubcap. I contacted Drive via chat and it was a long chat before they agreed to send me a replacement hubcap, I had to find the serial number (the chair was in my car so I had to get it out of my car & bring it in the house to find the serial number) and send a photo of the broken hubcap. Initially the Drive representative had recommended I send the chair back to Amazon for a replacement chair which is just wasteful and didn’t fit the timeline of when I needed to use the chair.

Perfect!
This is perfect for my 92 year old dad. Very lightweight and folds for easy storage. Dad is about 5’8″ and weighs about 150 pounds. Not sure how well it would work for someone who is larger than that, but great for him. I sat in it an moved myself around with my feet (please note, the back wheels are not meant for the rider to propel themselves) and it was very easy to push/pull myself and turn in circles. Almost no resistance. The back wheels have locks so no concerns about a run away wheelchair. All in all, money well spent.

Muy funcional para mis papás. La silla es muy ligera, la diferencia con una normal es bastante, tiene frenos y un par de agarraderas para cargar con las manos. También trae una correa larga para colgar al hombro. Si hace una diferencia

No assembly required! Footrests just clip on and off and lock nicely. Folds and unfolds fast. Doesn’t weigh much. Doesn’t cost much. Easy to attach enteral feeding pump and cupholder meant for bicycle handlebars. Can’t complain. Okay, the brakes are kind of crappy. Okay, really crappy. For the mall, fine. For San Francisco…get chocks, or something better. Brakes should lock. For a “transport” chair, brakes should default ON, and squeezing the handles should release the brakes. There should be some way for the rider to brake. But I digress: a great chair for a small price. Amazon Prime got this to my door the next day. Love that, too.

For ease of transport for short distances

Just got approval from the OT. She liked the brake feature and said it was one of the best she’d seen. And the price was reasonable. Buy a good seat cushion as well. Nice and compact to travel and weighs about the same a a good walker. Rear wheel size a bonus.

BLUF: Stick to very smooth surfaces and short distances – this is not a tough-built chair. I purchased this chair for my wife who had broken an ankle. We planned on using the chair for holiday travel to Oslo this December, as she could not walk in her cast. The first time we drove through the city was the day after Christmas. We had traveled just a few hundred feet down a sidewalk when the left front caster disintegrated. The weight load on the chair was nowhere near the listed 300# maximum. It being Oslo (socialist medicine – everyone who needs a wheelchair gets one) and Christmas week, there was no place to rent a replacement. The airline wouldn’t ship a broken chair free and the additional luggage fee was $100, so the chair stayed in Norway. While I would normally request a replacement, I had nothing to return. Just got off the phone with Amazon – they agreed to refund the cost of purchase. For the manufacturer, only beefier/stronger caster material would help. As designed, the casters are the weakest part of the chair. While this wheelchair is listed as an “Expedition” model, it would be best suited to flat, level ground and short distances. The brake is operator-initiated and cannot be locked; do not leave occupants unassisted — I was OK with this. Folded as advertised; held it closed with a strap I provided. The foot supports are not designed to fold and still remain attached to the chair; they are quite light, quickly and easily removable, and went in a carry-on for the flight. Very light weight chair, easy to maneuver on smooth surfaces.
