Excellent Wheelchair Cushion!
I bought the Drive Medical Titanium Gel/Foam Cushion for my father who is wheelchair bound, and high risk for skin breakdown. This is a great cushion, has retained it’s shape even with daily all-day use by my 170 lb father. It’s made of good quality material, and the nylon cover is easily cleaned. The Occupational Therapist and Home Care nurse both said it was an excellent choice and well made. Drive Medical has a very good reputation, which is one of the reasons I chose this cushion. Great purchase – thank-you!

Gel/Foam Cushion
First. let me say, I knowingly bought this cushion that was smaller than my wheelchair seat. Unfortunately, that has proven to be a problem because the cushion slides when I try to get into the chair. Secondly, I am a hip and leg amputee which makes it difficult to get into the chair. My disappointment is in the gel foam which I thought would be comfortable. It’s not! I feel the metal wheelchair seat. I think this cushion would be fine for someone that doesn’t spend 16 – 18 hours (sometimes 24 hours) per day in their chair. I also think this cushion would be good for a desk chair. One more fact, I am slightly obese and that may factor into the cushion not being comfortable. To sum up, purchase this cushion if it fits well into your wheelchair or desk chair and you don’t spend the majority of the day in it. I have learned from this experience!

Best I have been able to find.
I bought this for my mother. She is confined to a wheel chair and it is hard to find cushions that comfortable for long terms of time. This one has worked the best of the others that I have bought for her.

Yikes, I bought this for my wheelchair because my current seat cushion cover has ran it’s course. I actually need to get a new chair but it will have to wait a bit longer. So I saw the deal on this cushion hoping for the best. Sure the seat looks a bit different, so I wasn’t so sure on that in the first place. In fact once I tried this seat it was just way to uncomfortable. I couldn’t adjust myself in the seat very well, the cushion kept moving inside the chair, despite me ording it because of the same size. So I figured I would at least try the cover on my current seat, Well that was a nightmare of a choice. I unzipped, tried squeezing and tugging the current cushion of it out, and RIP!…it torn right down the entire side. It’s very cheap, not a very good quality at all. I have had my current for nearly 15 years and it’s finally started to get holes in it. This one is horrible and I can’t recommend. The cushion alone is just not comfortable either.

Good sturdy, comfortable construction. Fits my office chair perfectly. I use it to protect my skinny self from getting sore. Good purchase.

I like how the cushion doesn’t cause much elevation, therefore placing me closer to my wheels. Unfortunately though I think this is due to the cushion pretty much bottoming out. It is good if you’re only going to sit in your wheelchair for an hour or two, but much more than that and I start getting really sore on my bottom. For what it costs though I guess this is only to be expected. It was still a little disappointing though.
