This product is amazing. Some tips
This product is amazing. Some tips: other reviews have commented that the black velcro if it touches the blue part does rip it up. One advice is to wrap the black velcro into itself, on the black part. For those that say this product is not cold at all, there can be numerous reasons. I realized if I put this product is in the front of my fridge it’s not as cold. I place it in the back and let it freeze for 5-6 hours or more. This definitely keeps it cold for up to around 40 minutes. Also I close the wrap tight. The material is great, although it goes need to be kept away from water, thus the company encloses a plastic bag to store it however I put another big plastic bag to make sure there is no water that gets in there, also if ice particles form I put a paper towel to make sure it’s dry. Also I don’t want the thing to smell like frozen vegetables or meat, etc. This product is great b/c you can still type, use your fingers. The material feels great as well. It’s worth the money.

Product came promptly. Came out of the box brand new and sealed.Needed for a current injury, the PT clinic I attend uses Elastogels. My therapist recommended that I have ice packs for home use, so I ordered one. I already knew I’m going to like the product since I have been using them in the clinic. Within a week of receiving my first one I ordered a second one.As far as product quality:• Stays soft so it conforms to body part contour.• Stays in place (Velcro fasteners).• Does not cause any freezer burns.• Looks nice, “pro therapeutic accessory” look to it (for lack of better terms).Level of cold product provides may not be something that a UFC fighter will be looking for after a 3 round bout, but works for regular nine-to-fiver joes and janes with occasional injuries, or aches and pains. I will update review for heat therapy.

Best product
If you need this, stop pondering and buy it. This is by far the best device I’ve found for “icing” wrist/hand. It conforms to you. I would give this 5 stars all week long, except I believe the manufacturer has cheapened the product. I have some other Elasto Gel products purchased over the last decade. In comparison, this one is thinner than the others (less cooling gel) and the cover seems more prone to pilling and looking kind of scruffy with only a few weeks of use. So, 4.8 from me. In the attached photo, I am wearing a compression glove, so all the black other than the velcro straps is not part of this device.

Best ice pack for tailbones
If you have tailbone pain and need to sit or recline with an ice pack, this is a great shape. You can fold it into thirds to make a smaller surface area that holds the cold longer and doesn’t numb your whole rear end. The gel is less aggressively chilling than a liquid ice pack, which I appreciate for this application. The roll also fits nicely into the cutout in a coccyx cushion for icing while sitting. I have four of them now — two to swap between at home, and two that I leave at room temperture to take on plane trips where I can’t have a frozen thing in my luggage but have access to a freezer at my destination.

this is the best thing ever
If you have wrist pain, this is the best thing ever! It’s so much easier to use this than to try to position ice on my hand in the proper position, not to mention the drip factor when it starts melting. I wear this on the way to work, throw it in the freezer there, wear it at lunch, back in the freezer, and then I wear it home. It’s helping with my carpal tunnel tremendously. And you can still function with it on. It’s the best money I’ve spent on something in a long time. Definitely worth the cost – I would have paid more!

Fits any size hand; lightweight and totally flexible; gel all the way around
The one product photo does not do this product justice. I broke my wrist in 2 places and tried other wrist wraps. Here are the great things about this wrap for me:It fits any size wrist and hand. This is a huge plus for me. Other wraps were too big. I have a thin wrist. The thumb holes of others were way too large so they were loose at the top and did not wrap well. This one is awesome.It’s very lightweight and totally soft and flexible (when warm) so you can wear it while you do other things. (I never tried it cold.)The gel goes all the way around – not just a strip on the top and bottom. This is key for me because I broke my wrist on each side.The gel is a solid piece, so no worry like when it’s rice or another filler that keeps slipping to a place you don’t need it.It gets super hot. (I haven’t tried it cold.) I need to try putting a wash cloth between it and my hand, because when I heat it so it’s hot it burns my wrist and hand. When I warm it less so it’s comfortable, it only stays warm about 10 minutes. That’s the bummer. Maybe if it had a fleece liner around it or something it would keep the heat in longer.UPDATE: Despite the positive features I mentioned above, I downgraded my stars because the gel goes from very hot to cool quickly. Maybe because the gel is a thin layer, and also because there is no cover for the gel pack.

Ouchie hands be gone
Bought these for my girlfriend after she started a new job. They arw a lifesaver. She was diagnosed with Tendonitis (bullet manufacturing) and on her three days off she basically could not open a bottle of water. After buying these, her relief was palpable.They are well made, and fit nicely on her hands. Jthey retain the cooling effect for about 20 minutes out of the freezer, then they need to be put back in for roughly 30-45 minutes. After her Tendonitis got better, I gifted them to my brother (concrete finisher.) He loves them too, says the relief he gets after a long day of finishing concrete makes him want to cry in relief.If you have any issues with your hands that requiee icing them down, these are awesome. They have velcro straps, so you do not have to grip them to hold onto them. Cannot recommend them enough.
